Hi I have two Maltese and I have read that you should pluck the hair in their ears to keep it clean and allow airflow to prevent an ear infection. Is this correct? I enjoy your videos and have learned a lot. Thank you

I would suggest you carefully trim the ears with blunt tipped scissors. Do not pluck their ears. You can cause more damage than you’re trying to avoid. Leave plucking to a professional if that’s what you want done.

How often do you clean them?

You could start with once a month. Every dog is a bit different based on ear shape and activity.
