- Mercedes-Benz has unveiled one of the most ridiculous things we'll see at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show: a concept car inspired by the movie Avatar. Called the Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR, the wild-looking concept has scales on its back, big wheels that can drive sideways or even diagonally, and was created in partnership with the team behind the Avatar movies.

It feels like Mercedes and BMW always show off “concept cars” that “you won’t see hitting the road anytime soon” for the past 8 years. Here’s hoping another 8 more
The BMW i8 and i3 were concepts cars that moved into production.

@@filipnguyenduc6671 BMW seems to be the only manufacturer that makes "concept cars" with an eye to turn them in to actual production vehicles. Every other manufacturer has these wild pie-in-the-sky designs that have zero chance of ever seeing production.
Usually they include the tech sometime in future production. That's why it's concept & won't go in production
