Bedrock Edition players, you can sit this one out...
Yeah, it’s sad. At least we have 1.5 block tall crouching now!
Yeah, and they’re planning to add crawling
Rip bedrock...
Doesn't mean I will

This entire escape room concept seems 100% like a portal sequel that glados would do on steve
Minecraft x Portal
definitely
Hello. And welcome to the Blockthru Science testing chamber. We hope you have a nice stay.
6:03 lol
glados would have to do it on steve since chell wouldn’t be able to crawl. she’d be the same height lying down vs. standing up
You forgot the one where you can go in f5 and get a whole new perspective and will give you the perspective of crawl mode
you can find a hopper with a spawnegg preloaded with a "enter crouch mode" command
Underrated comment😂😂😂
But he used f5 to see the beetroot in the crawl sized hole
That second Shulker method is... frankly unbelievable. It's like the x=9 glitch from Mario Maker. I don't get how it can happen from a technical standpoint.
I discovered this glitch a few months ago, it actually works with y axis too. If the shulker is on the ground (too low to get you into crawl mode), you get the same behavior as when you clip into a block and it keeps your hitbox as it is. It also isn't limited to coordinates 2 and 8, it works for several powers of two. guess it's just a float imprecision issue (basically non-integers numbers are limited in precision)
why did i use caps and periods lol
@@zpiboo theres also something similar on bedrock, where standing at a coordinate 1 above certain powers of two lets you clip into and through the block/clip through panes, doors, iron bars, etc. if you crouch/uncrouch while moving towards the origin (0,0)
@@ppislander I don't play on Bedrock Edition a lot and don't really know much about it, but it might be related
Small correction, you clip into a block placed 1 BELOW a power of two, though through testing you can clip into blocks that are placed ON a power of two too
x=9 is such a niche glitch to run into on a minecraft video
Fun Fact: The Elytra crawl method was actually the original crawl method, before the actual mechanic was added
while it's still later than the elytra, you could also do the fast swim method before crawl mode was added as well, as crawl mode was added in 1.14, fast swim in 1.13
@@aiden_table Pretty sure crawling was also added in 1.13, it was just a bit buggy
@@FroststormFrenzy I just checked the 1.13 patch notes, and there's no note for it. it works the same as it did in 1.9. with the note for adding the ability to shift into swimming animation on land being in the 1.14 notes, under "player positioning". it may be important to note that it isn't referenced as crawling, instead being shifted to the swimming animation when forced into the correct sized space.
Oh my god I forgot about elytra crawling
@@KPH107 he said eleetra
I love how the debunk videos get millions of views but he still does other types of videos, it really shows that he cares about the content not just the money

I tried each in Bedrock after crawl glitching was added:
1. Fence gate - It works!
2. Shulker and pane - Works but requires precise movement
3. Dripstone stacking - Works!
4. Boat+Chest+Barrel - Works!
5. Elytra - Either doesn't work or I just suck
6. Water crawl - Works!
7. Riptide Crawl - Works!
8. Dripleaf Crawl - Works but requires incredibly precise movement
9. Conduit and Endportal - Conduit doesn't float in BE, Doesn't work
10. Door and Iron bar - Doors don't affect panes or bars, doesn't work
11. Door and Stair - Bedrock relogg doesn't affect hitbox, doesn't work
12. Door on scaffolding - Works
13. Mob dismounting - Works
14. Sleep cancelling - Beds must be unobstructed to sleep in, doesn't work
15. Iron trapdoor, works
16. Anvil, doesn't work because the model of the bedrock anvil is a rectangular cuboid
17. Shulker and panes - shulkers cannot force the player into crawl, doesn't work
18. Shulker Axis, yeah not even bedrock is that glitchy, doesn't work
19 - 20. Don't work for the same reasons as 17.
21 - 23. Sand/Other falling block + block with smaller hitbox, Works!
24. Sand and door, works!
25. Growing mushroom, works
26. Growing chorus, works
27. Growing cocoa, actually easier that in java, merely placing the cocoa at your head forces you into crawl
28. Budding Amethyst, works
29. Chain and Mud, Works
30. Grindstone and farmland, doesn't work, the grindstone has a rectangularly cuboid hitbox just like the anvil
31. Flowerpot and Piston, doesn't work: flowerpots can't float
32. Lava - Obby, Works
33. Stairs, works
34. Glass and mud, doesn't work
35. Minecart dismount, minecarts can't be punched in bedrock but the dismounting part works, 1/2 works
36. Walls, works
37. Falling dragons eggs, doesn't work
38. Ender gateway, works
In total 21.5/38 work.
Really appreciate the effort you put into this! Thanks for the list
You madman... You actually tried all of these? Honestly well done, I applaud you 👏
@@kieran101yesin bedrock edition
Nobody asked... But thanks 😢
on the one with the gateway there's actually an alternative solution. you can see at 12:45 that dragon perches on the exit portal so there aren't any blocks above it. you can built out with powdered snow then go to an end city, find elytra and go back to use them to crawl.
but probably the original solution is easier😅.
the world download disables structures so that wouldn't work. seems like something kenadian would do when debunking other escape rooms tho
@@Aagames_could still use chorus fruit maybe? Hmm
@@superslimanoniem4712 you can't get tp'd into a 1x1 hole with chorus fruit
cant you just do it with the lectern and the iron bars
@@Lindness how exactly do you get into crawl mode with a lectern and iron bars
Fun fact: age:0 cocoa beans are the only other block with the same downward hitbox as grindstones, making the farmland crawl trick work with only those two blocks (also thanks for crediting me Ken)
This has to be one of the most confusing, convoluted, difficult to follow videos Kenadian has ever made, and I absolutely adore it despite or maybe BECAUSE of its technical complexity!
this is a great video, good job again ken :)
@@samman1869bro thinks he’s “edgy”
Wow, what a random video with tips that I will not use ever.
Time to watch :)
That’s a lot
wow what a comment that made me realize none of this will help in the future like math
@@itzbamy Math actually make you better at Minecraft. Want to know the optimal PVP strategy? Use the hypotenuse. Want to find the stronghold with only one ender eye throw? Trigonometry. And want to build farms at peak efficiency? Statistics, baby!
@@sugreF_YT not the fun math the one with letters on it
That's not a glitch, it's a feature. At least, since 1.14, the original way to enter it in 1.9, which was exclusively through an elytra was probably unintended, and you could argue about the access through swimming in 1.13, but the way getting easier way into crawling in 1.14 was a clear feature, alongside sneaking making you able to get through 1,5 blocks. Btw, it seems to be getting added to bedrock.
How tf are we supposed to k ow what you’re talking about when referring to in as pronouns… “that’s” “its” “it”
nah shush
I don't know about you but to enter the end gate I have always used an ender pearl.. and I continue to use it even now in 1.20
@@aquasmile5032 Pretty sure they're talking about elytra-crawling through the end gateway being an intended feature, and therefore not being a glitch. LIke the other person, I think the intent was for people to use ender pearls.
Since you know, the first time you go through an end gateway you don't have an elytra yet.
But people did use elytra to get into crawl mode before crawl mode was possible in other ways.
minecraft youtubers stop calling intended features "glitches" challenge
The multiplayer ones are doable in singleplayer : an enderman could place the block and frost walker boots zombies actually make water "freeze" also there was a glich in one snapshot that let you crawl by just slamming into a block(dont know if its real, saw in a yt video) you could probably also use reaspaw anchors.
iirc armor stands work with frost walker too, would be a cool puzzle.
@@underhacker4221Any Armor/enchantmant works on an armorstand. Protection 4 Netherite Armor will make it way harder to break it, you can die to armorstands with thorns, etc. If you give them a totem in bedrock edition, they can even pop it if you try to break them, which will keep them alive.
I think I know how 8:12 works:
When your clipped in the door while crawling, you're crawling on top of the lower half of the door.
When you open it, the hitbox of that lower half rotates away, essentially making the floor underneath you disappear and making you fall. While you're falling in crawl, you have to re-open the door before you hit the ground. If you're too late and you hit the ground first while in crawl, Minecraft will register that you can stand.
By re-opening the door before you hit the floor, you now utilize the upper half of the door as the "ceiling" that keeps you pushed down into a crawl, so even when you finally hit the ground, Minecraft recognizes you have a hitbox above you (the upper half of the door) and keeps you in crawl.
Btw the 31.1 at the end is the percentage of the subs he has to 1 million as of July 31 2023
ken always has the dumbest yet best vid ideas
6:20 you see using f5 gave me a whole new perspective reference where???
I remember testing this a while back. It took 5 hours and that’s before you added more. I really like what you did with the end puzzle!
these are actually amazing. escape rooms, survival, everything.
i got recommended this video and I was going to pass it up thinking it would just be someone showing all of the ways to get into crawling. and while i find that interesting, i was going to pass because i didn't think it was worth my time. but then i realized that it was a Kenadian video and decided to click because you tend to make otherwise mundane content really interesting and worth watching and this was definitely no exception!
I love the detailed explanation!
5:15 took a while to understand but i finally got it (i think).
So basically the bottom of your hitbox is treated like the "floor" and the bottom of the middle step of the stair is the "ceiling".
When you jump up on top of the lower half of the door, the distance between the "floor" and "ceiling" is too small a gap to force you into crawl.
Remove the door and you falling essentially makes the "floor" and "ceiling" distance grow taller as you go down, until such a point during the fall that it's tall enough to force a crawl, but not too tall to force a crouch. This puts you into crawl mode.
Since the player hitbox in crawl mode is SHORTER than a block, if you push yourself up against a 1-block tall gap, you gain a tiny horizontal distance into the hole with the remaining vertical distance before hitting the ground. The difference in height gives you leeway to move forward.
If Minecraft were coded differently and the crawl mode hitbox was exactly 1 block tall, then you can never get into a 1 block tall gap via a falling crawl, because you'd have to hit the ground first in order to have the y-position of your 1-block tall hitbox align with the 1-block tall gap for you to fit in. But the thing is, when you hit the ground, Minecraft registers the height between the "floor" and "ceiling" as tall enough to warrant a crouch instead of a crawl, so you pop into a crouch the moment you even have a chance to move into the gap.
The cake is a lie... I really like that twist, also The Companian Cube thingy is AWESOME for Portal players like me.
9:47 i agree
3:57 That is fkn terrifying
i would've shit myself if that happned
Give this to Seawatt and Omz to see how they get along.
AWESOME VIDEO!!! That one with the shulker causing you to go into crawl mode only on specific axes/coords is one of the strangest things i've ever seen in Minecraft :o
I have an incredibly inconsistent and specific crawl glitch I came across years ago. Bug MC-177970 is a bug that existed in the snapshots between 1.15.2 and 1.16 where you could just walk into a block that was at head-level and randomly get put into crawl mode. Completely inconsistent and difficult to recreate... perfect lmao.
I think that the glitch you discovered might be tied to the framerate, though I am not sure.
1:06 i like how he says that hed have to do that theoretically and then he includes clips of him including that exactly
This is the true sequel to the prison debunk videos.
I believe Kenadian previously said most minecraft 'prisons' are just feature showcases inside of a bedrock box so he does the exact same thing but gives it a different title and a bit more thorough alternate solutions prevention,
0:29 obviously you clipped your head through the chain.
Kenadian, I know you do a lot of escape rooms/prisons, and I was just curious what you thought about an idea.
Essentially, since chunk bans work off of the nbt data tied to a book, would it be possible to create a resource pack specifically designed to disregard the nbt tags and data from books allowing you to essentially walk straight into a chunk ban without crashing?
6:11 Is the greatest clip of Kenadian i've ever seen
Great video! I didn't know there were that many glitches to crawl!
Fun fact: if you play on bedrock on a crossplay server (ex. Minehut) you will randomly start crawling if you walk into/next to a space you can crawl

the door and stair one you can easily just use the stair and the door while STILL staying in crawl mode from the previous chain room to just shimmy your way into the scaffolding room, no need for logging ;)
Level 30 debunk: ken could’ve used the lectern and the iron bars like in level 26, since the lectern’s hitbox is shorter than a normal block. I feel like he knew about it 12:36, but im either wrong, or he just wanted someone to realise

I loved the portal references lol
You forgot about the one where you just walk into a block perfectly and it puts you in crawl mode.
The crawling zombie towards you had me laughing until I was in crawl mode
I love all of those random Portal references.
This is the Minecraft Crawl Glitch Ever
12:00 the fact that I immediately realized this was hornet's boss music(from hollow knight) proves i've listen to it too much.
I first noticed the portal reference when you said now this could take a very, very, long time, though I thought it was just something only I thought of.
"In order to sleep and wake up shorter" that sentence made me laugh since I'm already short
That last one is all my secret bases from now on
You are one of the best mc youtubers. On this channel i learn a lot while other yters say common sense
i remember using water to crawl on the console edition. by crawl i mean having my first person body as if its 1 block tall but having my 3rd person body, my actual body standing on a block with the upper section of it in the wall. it is crawling without crawling existing
Reigen's theme playing around 6:00 got me. XD
how to bedrock crawl: go underwater, make a 1 block height base, place a sign. boom
Or just enable the experimental toggle and it is just like java, but it is reduced from the insane speeds we used to have for crawling to the speed of crouching
3:29 It is impossible to change direction with a riptide trident. It gives you a burst of velocity the moment you use the trident and does not change no matter how fast you swing your head around in the other direction.

I played this map before the vid and It was a pretty fun map. I had to skip like 5 levels because I couldn't figure out the solution.
You can somehow clip in a door by pressing a button and standing in a specific place (i just tested it with stone button and iron door) also the one side of the door needs a "normal block"
Just curious, can u use iron bars from the caged crystals and use it to clip into the exit? I might be wrong though
