This adds such perspective: I’m here at my mom’s house sorting through the last of her clothing, handling her old flannel jammies, thinking, “ these were as old and worn out as she was!” … and then i hear, “ and on that day when my strength is failing; then end draws near, and my time has come- still my soul will sing your praise unending; ten thousand years and then forevermore!” Forevermore indeed… I am so rich to have had a mamma like this one, and the world is richer because of music like this! I love watching the faces of those who sing praises to the LORD, It shows me that they mean it and it is not just words for them and it makes me want to sing praises to my LORD as my heart cries out to HIM. Often I see social media post that say if we forward it we will be blessed with lots of money to which I respond that if the LORD never did another thing for me this side of heaven, HE did enough for me 2,000 years ago when HE paid MY debt and the only thing I want now is the salvation of my loved ones and for others to see JESUS in me and want what they see.

I believe you are speaking abt an anointing- just singing with the heart.No flairs,no loud singing- just the spirit speaking. I havent listened to a lot of Gaither recently and really dont know much abt the individual singers(previous or present- havent followed closely). I just go with how a song touches my heart. I was really moved at abt 7:47,where Todd started singing that part. It's what made me come to the comments,see what others say. (sometimes you're curious to see if others feel what you felt:)
