    Shop wanted near 1000 to fix. I watched this video, ordered the soldering iron and wire needed and for less then 55 its a done deal. Thank you so much for this video.

      Same here! One guy actually wanted to totally relace the cluster for hundreds, with a junkyard cluster that probably still has the same issue! Thank you!!!

    excellent video, but you shouldn't have skipped the soldering dude. i hate soldering so much and so bad at it i rathe just buy a used gauge cluster

    PS: Be sure before reassembling the dash panels, to place a piece of transparent(it’s the thicker version) scotch tape over all the metal tension hooks. This will slightly reduce their holding power and tendency to not come out easily or break plastic, next time you remove the panels.

    My gauge cluster is nooisy... almost like a winding noise. Its. Quiet but annoying. Any ideas?

    NO NEED TO BUY RESISTORS if you have the 4 originals.
    I still had all 4 on my 98 Century w/110k mikes.
    One of the resistors came right off just from touching it. They are so small like little fuses the size of an ant.
    I re-soldiered mine and they work now!
    Had a friend lightly press down on one to stay in position then used a soldering iron to add soldier to each end. It doesn’t take much soldier.

    My Grandparents have the exact same car same year but theirs is beige theirs is the Century Custom
