Samsung Austin Semiconductor announces $1 million gift to Taylor community organizations

On Aug. 19, 2022, Samsung Austin Semiconductor surprised four charitable organizations that are impacting the lives of residents in Taylor.
Each of these organizations received $250,000:
💙Shepherd's Heart Taylor: to support food access for Taylor residents.
💙Taylor Independent School District: to support academic success for its students.
💙Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County: to support programming that enables all young people, especially those who need the most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
💙Bluebonnet Trails Community Services: to support access to health resources in Taylor.
"Samsung Austin Semiconductor is thrilled to become a part of the fabric of Taylor. We have been working during the past year to identify the best way to support our new community. This gift will address the increased needs of its citizens, especially those in Eastern Williamson County, around food insecurity, mental health and wellness, and our ongoing commitment to improve the lives and futures of local youth," said Corporate Vice President of Public Affairs Jon Taylor in his announcement speech.
