What a wonderful presentation by an industry giant! It is rare indeed to find honesty like that!

Funny comments on how the imagination compared to genuine execution.
Many years ago over 3 months, I brought home many small monitor type speakers for a room 13 x 12 or so and using Johnny Cash as a voice demo most all the speakers seemed clean yet seemed to pull Johnnys Neck or chest out of the picture and the character of his deep voice was missing in action MIA. Then when I got the Vandersteen 1C level home I said to myself "what was I thinking" The Quicksilver Monos and Vandies together are supernatural and unless you ever do the experiment yourself ya cant imagine. I have had a pair of 2C since appr 1992. They were hard to get in Sweden at that time so I bought them in Oslo. Never have I regrettet buying them. They are most likely the most musical loudspekers that You could buy. Not the most detailed, not With the brightest Treble, etc etc. But the most musical.

if you sent your 1Ci speakers out for people like Andrew Robinson etc on CZcams, being that they start at less than many other $2k speakers, you could and would increase sales.
I have no audio stores in my entire state. When I buy a set a speakers, it will be based of many online/ CZcams reviews. I don't have any other choice other than to drive for 8 hours to the closest audio store.

Using Legacy speakers for a Vandersteen seminar?

Yes! Bill Dudleston was kind enough to bring them in for Richard. They go back a long way and have great respect for one another. It was a true moment to see real camaraderie and togetherness in the industry.

What Speakers are on the Stage?

They are actually a pair of Legacy loudspeakers that Bill Dudleston personally brought in for Richard's seminar. It was a great moment to see two giants in the audio industry work together in support of one another.

The Johnny Cash story sounds very dubious. I can't ever imagine a speaker modifying such a familiar artist so much so he is unrecognisable. Pull the other one.
