Tonight we walk in the Arabianranta district of Helsinki, Finland.
Having filmed here several times, i'll link the summer walk in the top right corner of your screen.
Winter knows no mercy to Finland, it came, it saw and it took control.
The weather forecast predicts tons of snow until Christmas.
The perfect weather to admire the scenery and the beautiful 'chaos' in the city streets.
I really hope to film a walk during the day, it looks absolutely amazing with more light.
Christmas is getting closer and the snow is really piling up.

I love your videos they fill me with a peace and calm I can’t explain. It eases my homesickness and reminds me of the safety of childhood. I’m not sure why but it strongly makes me feel like I’m a kid and at home. Winter is also my favorite season and I love walking in the trees and along the snowbanks as a kid, since we lived in the country it was just nature and endless fields of white snow.

Same here in Kentucky. We *used* to get snowfalls, but you'd have to go back 30 years or so to see anything consistent here. The climate's so much warmer now.

like, this is my dream of a winter. Much snow and everything looks bautiful. I don't even have snow every winter and if there is snow, it's 3cm tall and it instantly melts when the sun rises. I enjoyed this pretty much

That's a great question. Yes, people in Finland can actually speak English very well, the two native languages are Finnish and Swedish, while the majority speak Finnish, English feels like the unofficial second language.

Good evening Himani, i'm happy to hear and to be 100% sure of a white Christmas i recommend booking your stay in Lapland.
Helsinki is so far south and borders the Gulf of Finland, which occasionally draws in warmer air, in that case it's a 50/50 guess as to whether there will be snow.

Snowfalls don't catch so well into camera.. Camera focuses too far in distance where snowflake are too small to be seen.
Camera was on manual focus, unfortunately the snowflakes don't want to show themselves at night 😋
