She has the voice of an angel. Amazing group, amazing music. Have been a big fan all these years, what amazing talent God has given these musicians. Her angelic voice is heaven.
How can Trad music be reject as "for the poor"? It is a rich, beautiful heritage that speaks to the soul of those Irish far from home even 3 or 4 generations later!
I haven't a drop of Irish blood since 6 generations ago and it speaks to me deep inside. Clannad is what prompted me learn enough Gaelic to follow the lyrics.
I saw Clannad in concert during the eighties, they are magical brilliance. ✨️

La primera canción me recuerda años muchos años atrás en un programa de radio ,radio 3 ,diálogos 3 , con Fernando Tercer ,no me lo perdía al incorporarme al trabajo después de medio día ,que musicas nunca lo olvidaré saludos a todos los países que tienen estas musicas ,disfrutar la belleza de las cosas es la única cosa que vale la pena en este asqueroso mundo , saludos y salud

We are Irish on both sides of our Family; I first heard the Haunting piece called : Harry's Game in Jack Ryan movie, it never left me. What is it about the Irish? Yes! The made the Bilboard charts, did the theme music for Harry's Game, Robin Hood and Braveheart. They sold over 15 million albums. America isn't the only to measure success.
@@sunshinemallorieparkinson2560 Thanks for the reply. I absolutely Love Clannad. Regardless of how any tune might chart. (By the way .. I believe James Horner was the composer of the Braveheart soundtrack .. which is also Epic). I think that my only point might have been .. that these tunes are great .. but for me .. all of the Robin of Sherwood tunes were even Better .. (and there are prob a few in here) .. but IMO they can't be beat. And also, Harry's game theme ... and 'in a lifetime' (despite bono being part of it - he did well there BUT). Clannad are the deepest most meaningful artists that I have ever encountered. ; )
