This was my favorite mission in the game, such a fun gameplay mechanic.. i hope they do more with it. I got the armor with just saving the many instead of the one too.

There's no "best" armor in the game. It's a random roll for everyone. It'll always be legendary but with different perks and stats. The best armor is whatever suits your build and play style.

Some also have certain views that have nothing to do with the game and it's a shame to grade it on anything, but the game. It happened with Hogwarts. I do however acknowledge there are lots of improvements to be made, but there is no way, Baldur's Gate 3 got a pass for all the technically issues it had, especially with Act III. I even saw some reviewers mention the Act III concerns and not dink it. That is like saying, "hey even though you can't progress any further, what you did play was a 9 or 10". Wild. Not all games are graded equally. I don't even use the reviews aside from ACG or SkillUp, looking for performance issues. Their thoughts on gameplay, I rather be the judge of.

Should have known! I loved this dimension hopping quest and I remember saying to myself "wow, Bethesda is actually making me choose" haha. Totally missed it. Also I missed siding with UCSYSDEF because I continued to keep doing the quests from both sides and when I picked up Revenant I thought, "oh wow, I missed something." I take a lot of meds ok! But I now need to kill the entire Key each time I enter because my bounty is 3 mil+. Even after the final quest in that line the whole station "tried" to attack me but they were spewing the "hero of the key" dialog as they pulled their weapons on me and were unable to attack lol. But ya, each time I swing by for some quests I need to kill each NPC and the ones that cannot die are all simply "downed" for a duration of time then they pop up and act like my best friends. Immersion killing but I missed the jump-off so it's my own fault lol.
yes missed both, or maybe not but my chest piece had auto doctor and I didn't have a save so I passed on back tracking that disgusting quest all over again. I also didn't do the calibration, when with the messed up time got my device and went with the strange engineer which you can hire afterwards... (for free)
I found a superior trackers alliance suit with PHYS 220 ENGY 176 EM 192 antibalistic -15% , weapons weigh 50% less, and l added ballistic shielding mod👍

I was just happy to finish this quest. I didn’t want to jump back and forth anymore. Sadly I saved Raphael and moved on. I did get the a7 and that shotgun is amazing, the suit looks even better. Oh well I’ll just stick with the mantis suit.

The raw stats arent as powerful as perks like sentinel stacked with combat veteran, and ballistic armor on Mantis. And mantis is all 3 with additional perks you can roll for like headhunter. Just save file and roll until you get the best ingame and take almost no damage

I'm currently wearing a Superior Explorer Legendary suit with 256P/212E/216EM, so this was a downgrade for me. I just had a good roll. Got a Superior helmet to match it on another roll. I also picked up a Superior Constellation suit (no helm or pack) sometime in this quest and don't even remember where.
Eh, I never found most of the named things to be all that good. By the time I get them I tend to already have slotted out something or received a purple / orange version of something that works.
Best done later, then sooner. Armor is level-locked! Or it's NG+ for you. This should have been explicitly spelled out in this video. "Best armor" is relative in Starfield.
Ditto, for the Starborn armor. I can tell by the stats you got this early. It's garbage later in the game. If you don't NG+, these trinkets are worthless. It's absolutely worthless.
The best armor would be three separate pieces (body, helmet, pack) to maximize the number of affixes and mods it can have. Combo armors offer convenience at the cost of having less overall potential. That said, it's a nice guide.
Exactly, while I admit the Starborn armors look the best, wearing one that has all 3 pieces gives you much higher stats, and abilities overall than a combo one.

'That' is the best armor in the game? I have a set of superior trackers armor that after mods has 240 ballistic and 200 of the other defenses. Add the 140 and 100s of the matching helmet and another 100 for the pack, and ALL starborn armor 'and' this one pale in comparison. Oh, and that tracker armor is legendary with both Combat Veteran and Sentinel on it, Combat Veteran twice actually cause it's also on the helmet.
Starborn armor is ABSOLUTELY NOT the best armor in game. It cannot be molded in any way. First, you cannot put regeneration on it. The only way to regenerate health with that armor is to get a difficult to unlock skill in the physical skills. Next, you need to remember the protection starborn armor has is combined with jetpack and helmet slots. It is very easy in any playthrough I have had to match or beat the starborn protection in just the Spacesuit, plus you also get the protection bonuses of a good jetpack and a good helmet. The biggest problem for starborn armor is that it cannot be molded. Not having regeneration is absolutely a deal breaker. That alone makes up for quite a lot of damage protection. Regeneration is something I completely refuse to go without. Waiting to unlock the skill is not realistic or reasonable. Starborn armor is like the starborn ship. It will be adequate if you are in a hurry to get through to the next ng+, but if you take any amount of time, pretty much any other decent armor is better. Same for the ship. Pretty much any decent ship beats the starborn ship if you put any reasonable time into getting the credits for proper parts.
Probably should change your title to “Average Legendary Armor”. As long as you are high enough level, the Antiaxo or whatever it is called armor is probably the best guaranteed stats. Same with mantis if you get it at a high level and get it to roll good stats. There are a ton of better armors with higher defenses than this crap set. Theoretically the best armor would be a god roll higher tier legendary bounty hunter or tracker alliance. But that would either take an incredible amount of luck or time. As long as you are high enough level for the mantis to roll with the highest tier defenses, that would be the easiest to farm good rolls since you can save in front of the mannequin case and keep reloading until you get god rolls.
In terms of defenses, I think I already have a better armor suit than this. I think it's Superior Explorer space suit, with close to 200 in the top 3 armor rates.
That is not the best armor in the game. Calibrated Bounty Hunter armor has better stats (204 ohys 148 engy 162 em). Sadly, that is all I had on me in my NG+ at the time of watching this vid, but my modest white armor is better than this legendary advanced armor. Keep you eyes out for Trackers or Bounty Hunter suits, those are the top end suits, even if they are not legendary.
not impressed with that armor, no weight reduction of any type, not even stealth. 30% damage reduction from aliens is meh, how often do you get hit by aliens. Now if that was legendary trackers alliance........

For the calibration, If you read the note near the computer, it will tell you one of the settings, will save you allot of time guessing.
That said 34 in both universes and one already had that entered. I used the 40/24 in the video and it worked perfectly.

Yes. There is a note in the final area of each Universe that tells you what to do.

Best armor in game is the advanced trackers alliance armor. 160+ stats in ballistic/ Energy/EMP 15 in hazard stats .

Once you got the legendary Magsniper and the Magshot - I think there is not much use for this A7 Weapon.
That would be nice the best magsniper I can find is just a plain refined.
It is especially powerful if you put skill points into the Shotgun skill.

These CZcamsrs are all the same they constantly show us footage of RNG armour and ship discoveries and label it as the best or how to get it.
I put 60 hours in this game and the only legendary armor I ever found was mantis. Will definitely be getting this
