The worst part is that Mercy basically proved you right by just sitting in spawn and staying on Mercy while complaining and screaming lol. Because that means that she knows she can't do much on any other hero, I really hope she's not another boosted case, but given that she followed you to your death instead of just going back to spawn to wait for a group up...I fear for anyone who gets stuck with her if that's the case.
Honestly, you're right; if your DPS aren't doing anything, why would you play a hero that can only enable others at what they're already doing? If you think they're so dogshit, then play a hero that isn't as dependent on her team as Mercy is.

It's so frustrating getting into a competitive game and your support insta locks Mercy with a team comp where she's useless; no one to pocket or boost so there's nothing else for her to do but healbot the rest of the game instead of swapping to a support that would actually help the team. And then they always cry about us losing but never wonder why jfc 😂

As a support main it makes me very sad to see other support mains whine like that mercy did. I can confirm that not all of us are like them. I try my best to not be toxic. I usually admit when i play bad and will ask teammates to try to do better if i know they can do better

As a support main who loves playing mercy, I’m not gonna play mercy if my dps are useless. I’m gonna go a different support to pick up their slack because they’re not doing their job. They can’t make use of my pocket. They don’t deserve it, they can’t capitalize on it, it’s okay. Play a different support. Mercy doesn’t work in every team and every comp. It’s okay bud, you can play a different support 💖 (saying this as a former mercy one trick btw, I love my girl but there are so many other supports in the game that are better)

As a mercy main I apologise for that mercy. I’m not even gm and while I admit I am a bit of a one trick because I’ve neglected my other mains (I plan to improve my kiriko and maybe someone else soon), it feels like common sense to get off mercy when your dps isn’t doing anything unless you have a pocketable tank on your team

As a gm mercy myself, that mercy player has no brain at all. She said that the dps were “useless.” If that was the case then why even play mercy to begin with? Dmg boosting a “useless” dps as mercy is even more useless. Idk how she is gm with that kind of mindset

Mercy is my most played character in the game just because I love enabling others and making them feel like a god. However if there are zero characters to enable what’s the point of the character? Every single time I see dps that i can’t mix well with I switch it’s that easy.
I enjoy playing mercy but if my damn team is struggling I'll go Moira or kiriko. The whole point of the game is to be able to switch and adapt as the game goes on ffs
The move is to switch heros if you're dying a lot as mercy... helps to switch things up.
