She’s absolutely stunning.I love her face paint ,and her super cute outfit,she’s absolutely perfect for your daughter.She no fought realises they are not toys,more fore decoration.But if I was her and my Mum had done this she would be my prized possession .Don’t worry about your art !you are really good,your face paints are gorgeous .Your dolls always look fabulous so there’s no need to worry about that.We all worry about being a good Mum,I bet you put your Daughter before you,she gets!you go without.I did that.Normal.We will make mistakes,we will beat ourselves up.But you must enjoy your children,they don’t stay like that for long,if your worrying,it’s because your a good Mum.If you can’t let her have everything some of her friends have !teach her to value what she has.I could not afford designer stuff for mine.But they were clean and well dressed..She loves you.Just enjoy.When you’re a Grandmother it’s plain sailing though.Because you learnt with your own children.I have four ranging from 23 to 12…But it’s not worth the worry .Enjoy your life ..Happy New Year 🥰

I love her she’s beautifully winter. At the same time I wish I could tell you how your stress, burnout, and dread feelings are valid and all too common. I find especially among artists. I struggle with the same feelings a lot and my art suffers for it. And definitely at the holidays unfortunately. You’re not alone🩵
Thank you. What you said is so true! Around the holidays the commitments seem to triple over night. Decorate the house, all the extra events at school, remembering to give gifts to those important people in your lives that are too easily forgotten like teachers and staff, then the regrettable things I inevitably volunteer for. Thank you for your support though, these words of encouragement have definitely helped.

This is beautiful! My mom loved nutcrackers and Egyptian stuff so one year i made by hand from paper a moveable(mouth part) nutcracker from paper that looked like a pharoh! So much fomun constructing it...I have no clue where it got to although i know she kept it. i was sooo proud of it bc at a distance or glance you couldnt tell it wasnt a nutcracker

The long break from school and swim team was a blessing. I know we are getting ready to jump into the thick of it again but I hope to manage my commitments a bit better. No more volunteering for things like making 45 handmade ornaments for the school staff 😆
As far as I know artists usually are their own worst critics. Others can rave about the artist art but themself only see things that they could have done better.
I am alot like that myself about any of my artistic endevours.😅
