Yes, can you please show or paste in the program code for kids? That's the key thing that's missing about how the launcher/spring is tensioned, and how the trigger let's it fly.
Well, a few ideas that might help, also I did no test them - cradle where the ball does is too heavy, can be made lighter - increase the length of the springing axles - this might increase ball's speed - add another set of springing axles parallel to the existing ones - this would increase the force
As long as I remember it waits for keypress on the brick, then moves the motor "up" for may be 0.5 second - that's where the lauch is happening. After the launch we move the motor back, until we detect touch sensor pressed - it means that we are in ready position. All that should be wrapped in infinite loop. The program should be simple, but if you wish, I can make one and take a screenshot.

Скриншот сейчас не смогу сделать. Но суть состоит в том, что при начале работы нужно двигать мотором "вниз" до нажатия на датчик касания. Потом например ждать нажатия на среднюю кнопку на управляющем блоке после чего покрутить моторов "вверх". И опять повторить все сначала.

Nah i made my own little code line off a push button i put in front, I also got wheels so its a portable catapult. Awesome Design Great Video!!
