  • Click Here To Subscribe! ► bit.ly/JOovvU - I am starting to get the hang of this ol' dozer. With new electronics (but IMO, needing a new Hydro pump), this thing is actually performing pretty good! This is my official second time using this machine since I have brought it back to life.
The fella that shipped it to me left the Hydraulic fluid in it.. it leaked out and killed every single electronic piece. So, month by month.. piece by piece.. I have been replacing the electronics. Now equipped with a Servonaut M220 ESC and a Servonaut BMA Hydraulic switch, and dual 200:1 drive motors on custom pinions (running the track drives) - I have been able to bring this awesome dozer back to life.
She ain't pretty to look at.. and she definitely needs some more TLC from me.. but this dozer is a welcome edition to our fleet here at the RCSparks Studio trucking company. Much like everything else - this RC will take many hours of practice and finesse to operate properly.. and I have to replace a lot of the bearings/seals/etc...
I think this will make a great project for me to work on in the coming season. Enjoy my friends.. I hope you like the video!

Another RC Sparks Killer Video! Those angles really showed off the level of detail in this RC. But, slow down Medic do more videos with your son. You know this time in his life passes too quickly, enjoy it while you can. But still outstanding work.

    Just a few tips:
For forward pushes tilt the blade back towards the tractor
when back filling/pushing off of the top of a hill tilt the blade away from the tractor.
My grandpa has an excavation company and i run the 1:1 dozers and bobcats for him sometimes.

Fun Fact, the Caterpillar D7E is an Bulldozer wich is powered by an diesel engine, but its power is converted into electrical energy by a generator and the tracks are driven by electric motors. Its sounds wierd, but they clame that because the engine can be at its most efficient RPM and the easy way to convert the torque, they use up to 25 % less fuel.
    And that was in 2010.

Nice one Medic, you can easily do some channel mixing on your transmitter to make the hydraulic pump only turn on on demand when you move the joystick, instead of it being on constantly . I have done this to all my hydraulic models and it not only keeps the pump motor collet, saves power and stop the irritating persistent humming. :-)

when we heavy equipment operators do something such as this the ideas is to push the water out using the dirt never bury it when you bury it it make the ground less stable which can cause sinkholes or if you are build in that area then what ever you build my even collapse

hello, im a heavy equipment operator. if your curious on why they would backfill over water, i would say they would turn it into mud so they can load it out rather than pumping the water out. iv never done road construction just regular dirt work. I'm 20 by the way.. sounds crazy lol. check out my dozer skill on doing a slope. i uploaded a video of me doing it. and also when your pushing material with a dozer, push little by little.never try to push the whole pile because your tracks are just gonna spin but once that happens obviously little by little pick up your Blade. and btw I'm currently operating a L120 Volvo Loader but i do know other equipment such as excavator and dozer. i was actually loading out material on 30ton offloads the other day with a 320. sounds crazy for my age lol

Dozer operator here.. nice work man! You just need to work on your backblading technique. It’s difficult to fine grade when you are attempting to finish off your work by “pushing” with the blade or ‘cutting”. When you drag your blade in reverse, it’s not only easier to see how much dirt you are dragging around with your blade from the operator’s seat _(IRL)_ , but it also has the effect of smoothing out your work and track marks, _(kinda like icing a cake)._ Just a little general critique on otherwise excellent novice dozing! Cheers, love the channel!

hey medic i drive these at work you always tilt the blade down only when you trying to dig to grave the top of the soil you let the blade float an only rise it when you start to bog down, when we fill in are mud pits at work you push a alittle at a time to build a solid place for you to walk across if it isnt solid enuff you sink , then you need a excavater to pull or dig you out :) any question medic ill be happy to answer m8 i op a dozer d6 cat an a d7 same as a 375 excavater an a 300 something volvo front loader
