It isn't a unusual that people want to move on to something new. I just can't understand why with her quotes of moral compass and the criticism of the defendants etc that come before her. Just for manners and integrity she didn't even mention to Burt she was moving on. I mean come on they worked together in the court room maybe not after work but WoW! not a word to him that she is moving on. She didn't have to take him that's not the problem it's the respect and MORAL COMPASS she has frequently spouted in her shows. I've watched her for years based on her opinions etc.. even repeating some of her morals to y friends when situations arise. Bad taste in my mouth. I wish her well as I do Burt...😊

OK, yes, your comment made me curious so I looked it up. That does seems rather cold-hearted of her considering his age and how solid he has always been. Maybe she honestly thought he could do better somewhere else or would be insulted by a lowball offer.

"he wasnt asked" doesnt mean Judy had anything to do with it. ill bet moving to streaming meant a much lower budget. and they prob just couldnt afford him esp with the 2 new people. im sure he's doin just fine. looks like they arent mad at each other on social media....

FreeVee is free. its on app on my Samsung TV. first two seasons are there, like 120 eps each season. S.3 should be there as well i havent looked

She’s launching a new show because she has got an ego the size of our universe and she can’t bear the thought of not being a celebrity any longer. She left Byrd in the dust for a younger version and as much as I enjoyed her for years, this new show sucks!

Thank God I will not be watching. I think she has made it into "a showy show". Those two ppl on either side is way too much pomp & ceremony for cases that aren't that serious. IMDB is an additional payment anyway, so goodbye Judy.

It just doesn't look like an interesting show. I will admit I enjoyed the Old judge Judy but I tried to get through one episode on CZcams of it and I'll be honest I almost fell asleep I was that bored

I've never liked her attitude! Byrd is a god-fearing man and God will cover him I heard what she did to him I never really liked her show anyway she never gives anyone a chance explain their side of the story.
That's her show and she running it and you don't, you're just jealous and don't hate appreciate

He has said in many interviews and many videos that I have watched she has every right to stop or start a new show when she wants to but what he said that he was told by Judy when he called her that he priced out from what I understand he wasn't even given an opportunity to say hey I'll take a salary cut.
I agree Ms Bre.., however, sometimes Byrd seemed like he was unhappy on the show. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there, himself.

You've missed the point! Of course she has the right to decide who she does and doesn't work with but if you are going to drop someone after a quarter of a century of working with them - its not too much to ask that you meet with them and let them know personally. The JJ 'brand' is based on doing the right thing, of acting with integrity, of having a moral compass. She let herself - and her audience - down badly here.
