iPhone X that won’t charge. Firstly, we replace a new charging port flex cable but problem still exists. Then we tear down the logic board and find out that there is a charging IC U3300 faulty. We replace U3300 with a new one and problem solved. - Věda a technologie

Would the wireless charging still work in this scenerio? My iPhoneX has this issue but the wireless charge still works. I have replaced the cable with no luck. So it is the logic board in my case?

I had the same problem with my first iPhone X, I took the phone to Apple store to get it fixed and they end up changing the screen because ghat was the problem but after that the face recognition didn’t work so they end up giving me a new IPhone X but the problem doesn’t stop there, after a year now the new IPhone X has the same problem now and the Apple store doesn’t want to fix the I phone x because this is out of warranty. This phones have this problem so I wouldn’t recommend to buy this phones used since more likely you will be out of warranty, Apple store wanted to charge me 500 to get it fixed.

I had same issues then got it fix by repair shop for $100. does it cost $100 to change IC?

The battery might have been faulty, replace it. If problem not solved, then check the charging IC

It is more like the USB IC or circuits have been faulty.

Got the problem with a Iphone X but its charging with any non original cable, just dont with a original. Any thoughts which Ic it can be?
The charging control chip is damaged. It could happen if you use non original cable. Just go on using the non original cable, you dont have to repair the ic.
