I suppose when Rudy died he left the ranch to Debra and none of it to his original 4 children with first wife Virginia. I wonder what those 4 first children think of what happened to their father’s legacy of that property given how it all unfolded. Imagine living there today, creepy.

This is one crazy story! I can't believe the sister would kill her brother over a simple question about how much the property would be worth. It's horrible what happened to Jake and he didn't deserve it. I agree with you, I think the sister was behind it all and the mom took the fall to protect her daughter. I'm glad that they all did time for this horrible crime against Jake. May Jake rest in peace 🙏🕊️. I hope you're doing okay and I hope and pray you will be able to make it out west! I saw this story on a television show. From my understanding, the family had a helper living with them. He had stumbled onto the grave. And there was no mistaking his rib cage. The family saw this. Apparently they told him "you know you can never leave now." Plus there were multiple dog sniffing teams out there.

So sorry, Bryan, thst you are dealing with chronic Lymes. I got Lymes disease while in the Army in the 1980's, and it really does a chronic number on you.

I spent on average 12-14 hours in the Front Range in the summers. Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Canyon, Snake Canyon, Falcon and Genesee Park along with the Hogbacks and Long's Peak. All alone. I never encountered anything strange or felt I was being watched. But because of channels like this I would never do it again alone. Especially in the dark. The disappearances scare me.

Gunnison is one of the best areas of Colorado because it's right on the edge of the mountains, and desert, and has an amazing canyon. Well... that's like a lot of Colorado but it's all incredibly beautiful. I've never heard this story. Thanks for the incredible channel.

The best part is it has a lot less liberals don’t have to worry about them destroying gunnison and Durango like they have with Denver it’s best to get out of the cities far away from these people you would have a better life I know I lived in aspen and Durango
We stay in Gunnison when we come to colorado to run some easier trails. We're not off road warriors, but we love the back country. It's in the center of a lot of beautiful, yet deselete land.
I was there last summer it's really something!

I taught at Western State University for 3 years and lived in Gunnison. There was always a feeling of depression there for me. I’m not saying it was a bad or evil place, or somehow cursed or anything like that. But I had a couple of deeply painful experiences there- one health related and the other a betrayal of the worst kind. I was glad to leave for another university job in 2004.
I find the place ominous… Michelle Wallace murder aside I’ve come across a lot of creepy occurrences that tie back to Gunnison
I believe that energy like that in a place, can really impact people's lives.
Matter cannot be destroyed. I truly believe your grandfather is still alive in a higher state of consciousness. Our bodies are just vessels. Im sorry for your loss. 💜 Healing sent your way.
So 3 months after he was last seen his mom reported it and 3 months after that his bedroom was investigated by the authorities? So 6 months after he was last seen? Too bizarre. Even my relatives would search long before that.

Anyone know the law in Colorado? What happens to the ranch? With the mother dead, the inheritor dead (obviously died intestate with no will) will his sister get the property after all as the only surviving relative?
