    This might sound ridiculous but when I can’t get a page indexed on Google it usually has the word “your” in the url. When I remove it (remove your) and reindex it works within 24 hours. I thought this was just a coincidence but having tried it over the last few months it seems to work!

    I've seen alot of people talking about the API feature in rank math. I would say just use it if your having major indexing issues, other wise it's probably not worth the risk of getting a manual penalty.

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  Před 2 lety

      I agree. I’d add that since there’s no issue with using the Bing API, go ahead and use it if you want to take the time to set it up.
      Getting indexed and ranked on Bing hasn’t been as big of an issue though so I don’t think anyone needs to run out and do it today.

      That's my take as well. It's worth noting Google has flat out said the limitation on pages they say it's for is only temporary - that they fully intend on expanding it for more types of content.

    • @XXDjronaldXX
      @XXDjronaldXX Před rokem

      I agree with you, there is a significant downside to this solution. After implementing the indexing API, my top-ranking blogs have completely vanished from the search rankings. These blogs used to have keywords that consistently ranked in the top 3 positions and generated sales. Shockingly, they are now nowhere to be found in the top 100 search results. This sudden drop occurred within a single day of adding the indexing API.
      Previously, my blogs were receiving an average of 15 clicks per day, with 800 to 1000 impressions. While this may not have been a substantial amount, considering the fact that my blog is relatively new, it still managed to generate around $50 in revenue in just a week. However, since the implementation of the indexing API, my blog now only receives around 50 impressions per day, with zero clicks. I'm currently at a loss as to how to resolve this issue, as there doesn't seem to be a manual penalty and the URLs are still indexed. In an attempt to improve the situation, I have updated the content, but it remains to be seen if it will have any positive effect.

    Love the video as always. I have one burning question though, that I've had for months now and couldn't find an answer to. Once your blogpost ranks, and say it's on the 4th spot (or at page 3, it doesn't really matter). Is it then possible to get ranked higher or is that just the place you're gonna stay at? Or is it more logical that once you gain more authority, you're place in the rankings will also go up??
    Thanks again for all the great content.

    Hi, The Google Indexing API documentation states that pages having either a JobPosting or a BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject can only be crawled using the Indexing API.
    Thus, it wouldn't be helpful if your posts or pages don't have this particular output. Although some reports claim it works with regular posts or pages, you should exercise caution because abusing the API beyond its intended use could result in penalties from Google.

    Please don't use instant indexing by Rankmath. My 10 pages that were well written but getting delayed for indexing for months.
    I tried Rankmath and next day all 10 pages indexed. I was so happy!!!!
    Within a week, to my surprise, all 10 articles are invisible on SERP. I checked till last pages but not found. However, GSC showing that it is indexed but practically, they were out of the SERP for ever!
    I lost my 10 valuable articles having 14k words in total.
    Guys, stay away with any API plugins if you want your pages being alive for long.

Previously, I was receiving around 500 page views and earning $56 in Amazon commissions. However, in the past week, I haven't received any clicks, and the keywords that were previously ranking in the top 3 are now not even in the top 100. I haven't received any manual penalties. I believe most indexing issues people face are simply because their content isn't good enough. If there isn't enough quality, then why would Google want to rank it and show it to its users?
    I would completely avoid these hacky indexing tactics. Applying each URL manually via Search Console is your best bet, and if Google is still choosing not to index it... it's time to have a holistic review of your entire site's quality (of content, authority, and topics).
