- On March 24th, 2024 at the Flesh and Blood Pro Tour Los Angeles, one of the most miraculous top decks took place. Just like Craig Jones with the Lightning Helix, Arthur Trehet made the Topdeck of the Century in the finals match worth $50,000.

Fun Fact: His very first purchase in FAB was a Dromai precon. He upgraded that deck into the build he won the PT with!
Oh hell yeah! That is awesome
I was in the hall for this but I wasn’t near the stage. A lot of people were watching it on their phones or on the streaming area - I saw like 8 groups around the place in unison lose their minds but the stage weren’t clapping so I knew the game wasn’t over yet (anyone near the stage is told to be silent). I knew -something- crazy had happened and it wasn’t till a little bit after where I spoke to the headset judge where they told me what happened
They said to me “it was the hardest keep a straight face moment I’ve ever had in my life”. Really a moment for the history books
Genuinely one of the greatest endings to a game, ever
Uber’s first time casting at a major FAB event under LSS almost gave him a heart attack lol
He honestly did such a great job
Insane. FaB is so good. Here's to many more "oh shit!" moments.
Really enjoyed watching the coverage of this event. Nice to see how FaB is building up.
FaB has been doing so awesome! ManSant is really kicking ass with the production levels of his streams
This was an absolutely insane game to watch live. I feel like 90% of players would’ve just fired the Sink on that first swing and lost because of it
If he played sink from hand, he would simply draw sigil as the last card of his hand. The only value of keeping sink in arsenal is playing around spill blood plus pump
So players who would have blocked with sink first would have still won
This is on surface true, but the sink would not have made sense as kyloria was the follow up in that line
I love the passion of casters. This is what I am missing most of the time in turn based games.
The casters make the game so much more enjoyable to watch and listen to
Your videos are always so incredibly well produced. Love your stuff.
This wasnt pure luck, the dromai played pitched a sigil earlier in the game, there was a chance this was his pitch stack... "pure luck" is not what I would go with for this draw, there was some chance there, but there was intent to get this back later in the game.
EDIT: Went through it, it wasnt his pitchstack, but it looked like he had 2 sigils left and about 10 - 15 cards that were untouched, so he knew he had a higher probability to draw a sigil off the sink.
Also his decision to take 1 and arsenal the sink on the prior turn was the most optimal play, and not an obvious one. While the topdeck was sort of lucky, his play was so insanely optimal all through the top 8 that he always opened the door for himself to have good luck.
this was such a great game to watch in real time
"We're in the house of the dragon, and at the head of the table sits Arthur Trehet"... What a dope line! Incredible game, incredible casting, amazing.
Casters made this game so much better!
Great match and the BEST way to send Dragon Lady on her way to LL'ing.
Lisan Al Gaib !!!
Such an incredible match
Bro is dressed like a removing addict at a job interview. Fantastic breakdown of the action, I appreciate the content.
I would have cried real tears if I drew that sigil lmaooo fab has my heart forever
AMAZING!!!!
Is the helix draw more memorable than nassifs cruel ultimatum called shot?
Technically that's 30000$ topdeck :)
LISAN AL GAIB
Is this a Dune reference? I keep seeing it but I haven't watched the movie
@@Sloopdoop It is, it was really weird yet kinda wholesome to see so many messages live shouting LISAN AL GAIB which is the name they give to Thimothée Chalamet's character in the movie, who's basically all seeing. It's also fitting that both Thimothée and Arthur are french and kinda look the same, but still, the meme went really hard really fast, that is crazy
Crazy thing is the Dori would have won if they cleared the Cromai. Dromai was ash locked and had no way to summon a dragon to get the bta lethal.
To be fair Max didn't know what was left in Arthur's hand, and if he was able to play another 0 cost Dragon, he would win. I think it was correct to go at face
@@Sloopdoop Actually no, because if Arthur has a 0 cost dragon Arthur loses because he has 0 ash and no way to create any because furnace is gone. So he can never play a dragon the rest of the game (until you pitch a red for an actual attack)
