if there are any metal fillings they would be in the bottom , so what you could do is take the plug out and let some of the fluid out ( a few seconds) then put the plug back in. This way if there were a few pieces of metal , they are probably gone and now you only lost a little bit of fluid. Top the fluid back up and your good to go ,,,, i would only fo this for the 50hr as its not alot for hydraulic fluid

Hi Tracey, I change my oils every 200hrs as per JD Manual. You are not working it that hard the oil in the trans should be OK. Life is good when you have a tractor.

At this point I am more concerned with the warranty. And It is comparatively cheap insurance. Thanks for watching Dave!

Well done! No, the loader need not come off, but if you have the backhoe on, you need to remove it, or be really dangerous and remove the front subframe pins and extend the bucket enough to push the front of the subframe down. Please just remove the backhoe, seriously.
Also, when you drain the hydro, you really need 3 of those big pans. You can try to plug the hydro back up as you fill the pan, then go drain it, but it's so much easier to have 3 or 4 pans handy.
My dealer said they don't usually change front axle oil at 50 hour. It's required by the book for warranty, so I did it by the book.
If you want to get all religious about it, let's look at some scripture - What doth it profit a man, to save money and time on his scheduled maintenance, yet lose his warranty. Or something like that....

Nice video, I threw up twice. I am changing all fluids. You have no idea what is used in the assembly process. You can also use better oils if desired.
