Dave was sitting next to me when your hubs grabbed the tape and said “wait don’t throw that away you can use that in a junk journal” we both cracked up! Apparently the men in our lives are self trained in saving the trash and asking before pitching it😂😂😂Well done and a gold star for you hubs! Amazing haul. Dean are British. I have a few books of theirs but not that one. I wouldn't be able to cut it up though (like most of the vintage children's books I have bought. Your husband is so funny. In the painting book there was a page with a Christmas tree on it - that was my absolute favourite thing.

Happy Anniversary!! In March I celebrated my 44th. I'm amazed that you know the eras of all your finds. Is this something you've studied?? I was born in 1950, I've been sewing since I was 8, and I still don't know this. To be honest I can't remember what I wore in those times, to be able to recognize the prints. Amazing!! Oh and that green/red fabric looked very Asian to me. I love the recreate store that we have here, it's a crafters dream store!! TFS * L
I consider myself someone who knows and holds onto random facts that have no real meaning or use -- ha! I've been a "study-ier" of the decades and their fashions since I was a kid. My mom sewed for me and taught me how to sew.
So great you also have a craft re-use store! I love how they are constantly changing their stock, that's the best part!
