Which is best, get two Delta Pros or one Delta Pro and one Expansion Battery?
Great work, but what if you have a Delta Pro ULTRA? .... Is it better to get additional battery, or another inverter and battery?
A good explanation of 240 volt. I like these short classes! Merry Christmas to all!!
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind and try to do more short videos.
Nice breakdown of electricity. Most people, including myself, get lost in the weeds with phases, amps, hertz, watts and volts. You should make a video of elementary electricity.
The new Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra has 240 volt split phase out of a single unit.
The new Anker Solix F3800 also has 240 volt split phase out of a single unit.
At least that is my understanding. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Yep! I have a single ecoflow delta pro I purchased last year, but will be getting the Ultra Pro for the reason
Thank you!
240 volt single unit will eventually be in all new whole house back up solar generators.
Yes, ONE Delta Pro or DP + EB can output 240 volts if you use a Victron Autotransformer.
There is a solution for users who require 240 Volts Split Phase such as well pumps but where the users only have ONE Delta Pro.
This solution would help users who perhaps just can’t afford to purchase a 2nd Delta Pro at this particular time but would really like or need 240 volts split phase.
Obviously, the Victron Autotransformer is less costly than a second Delta Pro so it might be a viable option for some EF users.
This will allow users with ONE Delta Pro who may happen to already have a L14-30R generator receptacle inlet which connects to a split phase transfer switch at there house to SAFELY power 2 pole circuits and Multi Wire Branch Circuits (MWBCs).
Or perhaps a user can’t afford a Smart Home Panel (SHP) yet or they are in Canada where the SHP are not permitted yet so users will opt to use some type of transfer switch (6 circuit, 10 circuit or whole panel transfer switch) which typically contain at least one 2 pole breaker.
A EF user with ONE Dp + 2 EBs can now power 240 volt split phase circuits.
The downsides are:
- One Delta Pro will get depleted twice as fast as having two Delta Pros
- Solar recharging limited to max of 1,600 watts of input versus 3,200 watts of solar input on 2 DPs.
- DP's current limit will be cut in half as amperage limit will be reduced from 30 amps to 15 amps because the autotransformer divides current between the two split phase legs so user will have two legs of 120V/15A and 240V/15A but still with total of 3600W.

TLDR:
1. The Victron Autotransformer works great for providing 240 volt split phase while using only ONE Delta Pro.
2. Tested the Autotransformer with my Reliance TCA1006D 100-60 Amp DP Single Load Transfer Switch.

Good review. There are mainy single units (gas and electric) that claim 240V output. Most of those are all single phase 240V that is totally worthless if you have 240V appliances/pumps that need split phase. Thanks. Merry Christmas.
EcoFlow delta pro ultra check
Yes that has 240v output from a single unit. The video was recorded before that was announced.
@@minutemanprep yes
Great educational video
👍👍merry Christmas and a happy new year 👍🐝🎅☃️🌲
90 degrees apart.
So do any of these newer units use low frequency inverters?
i literally cant find one honest review video without it being sponsored and all the reviews are all the same too, anyways i wanted to ask if you ever had any issues with your delta pros, did you have any problems where you had to ship the unit back for repair? i just want to plug and play rather than dealing with a ton of issues down the road. thanks for your time
Yes I had random little issues but I got them fixed and ecoflow as good to work with. If you want more help you're welcome to email me at info@poweredportablesolar.com and we can find exactly what will work best for you and I'll get you discounts. Ben
Never seen a Zendure SBV with a front face like that even on their website - which has "ZEN A/C Output" door on the left covering two outlets (30 Amp RV Plug and a single phase 240 plug IIRC), and an "A/C Output" door on the right covering four 15 amp 120 volt max outlets. BTW the doors fall off in short order with normal use.
I heard the new Anker came out with a 240 V solar station!
I’m not sure if this means they’re one phase at 240V ?
like your quick question videos. thanks. as likely mentioned in comments by now (nerds won’t miss this), the upcoming 2024 anker 3800 & ecoflow delta pro ultra are single units w/240v option. awaiting reviews here on both. btw, is ecoflow restricting reviews on the dpu, even after they’re in reviewers hands? reviews have been so damn slow to come out.
Good to know about the short videos. I will try to do more of that.
I just ordered them 2 hours ago. I'm going cancel and get 2 sc300
Have you noticed the Titan 240SP? Back-ordered till February at the moment but it looks like it'll output 240 with a single unit.
I thought the Zendure Superbase V had been out for a couple of years?
Is there a solar generator can can have a externally connected 24 v battery
Only the original Titan, which is now discontinued. But I do have 3 used units that work 100% for sale if you're interested. info@poweredportablesolar.com
Did you ever get the mango e fixed. Im looking at ordering 2 to get 240 split phase.
Nope. I have had 4 units. All have died, and Mango now won't replace them. They've told me to wait for an update. That was 6 weeks ago. So I've had the dead units taking up space for nearly a year, since I got the original units. I do not recommend them. If you would like some help and discounts on a system please feel free to email me at info@poweredportablesolar.com
can a second delta pro be configured as an extra battery for occasions where 240v is not needed?
Nope.
What about anger 3800
I originally filmed the video before that existed. That has 240v output as well, but it's limited. Same as the Titan 240SP.
Haven't seen any mango updates? Still having issues?
Yes woukd love to know
Yes, still having issues. Mango asked me to stop making videos until they fix the units. But I've had 4 units now, all have died. The last two, both inverters fried. They are telling me that they will have them fixed by doing a firmware update. They said it would take 2 weeks. That was 6 weeks ago. I reached out last week, still nothing to report. Don't go with Mango.
@minutemanprep I have 2 units with no failures yet, I would like to do a similar test as you did to see if I cam get mine to fail, what did you to when the failure occurred?
Do you think since these are made in China they have access to shut them down track where they are installed?
No I do not think that they have that option.
