You will be successful in life because of your love, spirit, kindness and most of all caring. Kalyany, I am SO PROUD of you for having the courage to tell the world your story. You have come so far from the shy, reserved girl that you were when you first came to UCLA. You are developing into such an inspiring leader, not just for UCLA gymnastics, but for so many other LGBTQ+ people out there. I cannot recall an NCAA athlete coming out in any sport. If there has been, it usually came near the end of their NCAA career or afterwards. I have a feeling that there will be a large number of other NCAA athletes who will follow in your footsteps. She is a beautiful young woman and should not feel uncomfortable about her feelings and being different. The world is lucky to have Kaly. I’m so proud of her for telling the world who she is. We should be celebrating her differences and liking who she likes! HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!
Every single person needs to see this! I did gymnastics for 15 years, level 10, had college offers, but I was scared how other teammates would feel...so, I didnt do college gymnastics. Thank you so much for making this!!
We go to the same gym in Colorado and she is very good at gymnastics and is really nice! And the coaches there and everyone who knows her couldn't be more happy for her!😊♥️

I have seen this lots in sports in university where the coaches tries to transform their athletes to be straight, UCLA is one of the few schools where coaches are very accepting of their students no matter what they come out as.
If think she doesn’t realize what a great role model she is for young girls and how everybody loves her so much! She seems like such a pure soul!
