- Here is a full interview that Legendary L.A. Radio Disc Jockey Jim Ladd did with Lemmy Kilmister in January of 2011. I had to omit the songs from the interview due to copyright issues. I have added some pictures that I have taken of Lemmy and hope you enjoy this.

42:13 kinda just gave me a chill.
I saw him turn the tables on media in Christchurch NZ hungry for a heavy metal / knife violence story. Lem wouldn't give them an inch but had plenty of time to talk to his fans and sign stuff. A true original. Much missed.

I think this is the most intelligent interview I've heard with Lemmy. Not only does Jim ask interesting questions and lead the conversation in an interesting way, but Lemmy sounds very relaxed and isn't constantly quipping and throwing one liners about. Brilliant stuff.

Turned down the bass and that was better. Good interview. Not often you hear Lemmy laughing and that involved, even asking the interviewer some genuine questions.

What a guy, sad his prediction came true, what would he have said about it
He did NOT form Hawkwind, he joined Hawkwind when the original bass player didn't turn up for an unpaid gig. So Lemmy 'borrowed' his gear and auditioned and got the gig.
This would not be the first time Jim Ladd put his foot in his mouth and got facts wrong, we all know the history of Lem in Hawkwind.
