The first level deserves a like. You can turn the level into a Speedrun level or a Precision level. He gave you a choice how you want to complete his level and I really like this idea.

It’s a cool idea, but I think a lot of players care about the world record time and trying to compete with it and that can’t really be done there

Level got deleted, maybe because it does need turbo controllers which are kinda cheating. I went to check with my turbo controller and the level wasn't there anymore

I think it's not about the speed of the mash but the rhythm. Because you only jump when you're on the ground so mashing jump while you're already in the air won't do anything. You just have to time your jumps to when you land
The mario in shell level at 3:10 is actually pretty genius with the on/off block wall so you can't beat the level if you practice door.

That last level, I think you need to hold right + run for speed (X or Y), and rub your finger back and forth over A + B really fast. I call it a controller breaker (feels like unnecessary wear on the buttons) and I would endorse skipping levels like that. Call it what you want, but I call it not worth breaking my controller for your hot garbage.

Way back in the NES days those rubber pads did have a shelf life. Sure, there are ways to extend that life, but unlike way back in the NES days there's a lot more going on in the controllers and I do not feel like keeping track of tiny parts or trying to reset tiny springs. It's unnecessary roughness, it's annoying, it feels like I'm going to get a blister (and am in no hurry to find out how likely that'll be), and it's not worth it for your shit level. Boo and skip, thank you very much.
@@Dethneko If you hate it so much, then don't play them or get a turbo controller...but if pressing the buttons is gonna break the controller then it's not a good controller. I still use some Xbox 360 controllers from 2007 and they're still going strong without any repairs. This isn't the NES days so I don't see why you need to bring that up?

I’m not good at Mario but I always try to beat a hard level that hes played and I’ve actually done it twice.

Some insight on mashing
There is a technique called jitter clicking (has other names) that many people are very skilled at. There are people who can do it very precisely (i.e. top Tetris players) and people who can do it very fast (i.e. top cps times) im one of the people who can do it very fast, as i learned to do it when i was very young. (17 cps max, 13 cps average with 1 button)
Disclaimer/Warning: It is not a skill that you should practice or learn if you are young. Its a party trick that gives you carpal tunnel, and simply isnt worth it.
On that last level, could you walk to the right so that you get the mushroom but the spring hits you too so you're little again?

Okay so I searched up the ID of the turbo controller level and apparently it was deleted for some reason.
Someone must've reported the level and Nintendo took it down because the player probably cheated verifying the level.

@@bodie12333 sounds like you use your t-shirt to cover your thumb and you rub it between the A and B buttons to alternate jump inputs really quickly. the shirt should protect your thumb from blisters and also allow you to slide it between the buttons more rapidly. it's how i used to play fighting games on a controller when i had to do the dpad inputs

What does the turbo controller do?
Instead of pressing a button, you can just hold the a button
Some controllers (typically, unofficial ones) have a turbo feature which emulates button mashing by simply holding it down.

You could have accidentally sneezed and pressed the skip button for 3 sec and no one would have noticed
But he skipped it by leaving the level.
