It's that time of year! And it's time to start getting your life together just enough to submit grad school applications (after which, you can totally fall apart again, we all do!)
Your personal statement should stand out in some way from the hundreds of other applications programs are gonna be receiving, and to do that, there are some things you should absolutely try to avoid at all costs. These may be common knowledge already, who knows, but hopefully they help!
