I knew that exotic cars were shipped via air but not the steps involved. Thank you for the explanation. 😊😊

I hope kerosene will be *heavily* taxed soon. Climate change will destroy the future of our children all over the world and some idiots are shipping cars by plane.

Aviation is only responsible for producing 3-4% of global emissions. Compared to other industries, this is very low. For example, cars and trucks alone emit more than twice as much carbon dioxide than aviation.

@@thompsonriverrailfan I am French and France is less than 1% of the world population, so I guess according to your philosophy French can do whatever they want whatever the impact on the environment ! More seriously, as you may have noticed if you don't live in a cave, cars and trucks are going electric or even just disappearing with public transportation in cities and passenger and freight trains between cities at least (for now) in Europe. Even in 2024, I use (electric) public transportation everyday, my (electric) car for family trips, and I use (electric) high speed trains to travel across Europe. A 1000 km high speed train trip emits less than 10 kg of CO2 while the same trip in a plane emits 400 kg. To conclude, we need all industries to reduce CO2 emissions to almost zero to reach net zero by 2050, aviation is no exception. Furthermore, aviation impact of climate warming is not just about CO2. Anyway, the "other are worse so I won't change" is a doomed strategy, leading by example is the only way to succeed.

old video those mini coopers are a joke, everyone wanted one at first and were willing to pay the extra $6k in freight, not anymore...im laughing now as they were also flown over for special events and uses not regularly like exotic cars are and this C -17 commercial is even more pathetic...guess they forgot about the C-5 which hauls 50 more tons then the C-17 does...lets mix facts with fiction though

These are show cars for some auto show and are prepared for display so they have timing constraints and big budgets. No one would fork 6k USD in shipping just for a Mini, unless they live in a wealthy but isolated corner in the world.
