    A beautiful fugue from the famous Johann Sebastian Bach. The work was originally written in g minor for violin - I think it also works beautifully on the guitar :) I am playing on a 19th Century J.A Stauffer copy by Jan Tuláček. I will post the following movements over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
    Thank you to all my amazing fans for your comments and support, hope you've had a good start to 2018!

    As someone who has studied and listened to classical guitar for over 50 years, I will say this woman is playing at a level of maturity seldom reached by players three times her age. Bravissima!
    PS. listening to this two years later . . . I'm out of breath by the end! Astonishing performance.

    Dear Miss Jones, I am a Violinist I know very well this piece that I played for more than 30 years, and it is one of the most difficult pieces for Violin and one of the most profound music written by JS Bach, you are an intelligent musicians of vast talent. I am abashed by your musicality, the choice of the guitar, the flawless and brilliant interpretation and the choice of the fingers positions, and the sterling quality of your sound. My compliments. And thanks for the music. Really.

    • @frankhorvath817
      @frankhorvath817 Před 9 měsíci

      Yes this is somewhat difficult piece for violin, but that is primarily due to the anatomy of the violin: The four strings are arranged in an arch so only notes on adjacent strings are available for double stringing. This little problem is overcome on the guitar and mechanically this piece is not so difficult. The big BUT is all the rest: musicality, phrasing, technique, and a god given talent to understand and interpret this piece in a beautiful way as she does.
      I would also add that when I play this piece it comes much as she would play it if she were wearing heavy leather welder’s gloves.

    It appears that now-a-days there are many lovely talented (which is mostly from devoted practicing) performers of good music. It just doesn't hurt that they are pleasing to behold as well to hear.

    Danke für diese wunderbar interpretierte Musik in einem unglaublich meisterhaften Spiel auf der Gitarre.
    Ich komme aus dem Stsunen nicht raus, wenn ich sie auf der Gitarre spielen höre und sehe! Bitte weiter so! ❣❣❣LG!

      It's not so easy to play a single note at the right moment, the right force rather than a full of notes where only the first one is perharps at the right place.
      Not the case of this young woman but yours maybe ?
