I happen to have both phones, so this could work really well for me. I might end up picking one up, but only the Black one, cuz that's the one think thing I always wanted with AirPods. Or let's see, I might wait for leaks to tell me when the "OnePlus Buds with Wireless Charging" will be available 😅

I am able to see the battery level of the buds on the Batteries widget on my iPhone. As for the case, the LED indicator shows you the charge. So, can't complain really.
@@TheSearchForAwesome No, haven't updated my buds. I started using it on my iPhone 7 out of the box. Have been using it for 4 days now. They work pretty well. The double tap controls work, taking out one earbud pauses music and even CZcams videos. Only issue I have faced is that sometimes, if I move my hands or something, the buds lose connection for a second or so but immediately reconnects and starts playing again.

Sometimes I cannot pin point what causes the loss in connection though. I haven't tried disconnecting entirely from all devices and repairing it again. Hoping that might fix it. It isn't too much of a problem though because it doesn't happen too often.

If you mean a version that has noise cancellation, you might want to wait. If your good without that, I'm really happy with them so you probably will be too

Could you explain that bug your experiencing a little more? I'm trying to see if I am able to run into the same bug with newer firmware

The AirPods have extremely low latency. They are the only wireless earbuds that I can play rhythm games when I forget my wired ones.
AirPods are about 100ms of latency and the OnePlus buds also have around 104ms latency. It's hard to believe that anyone can notice 4ms.

If they had a good mic quality I would consider them, but according to the Verge review, these mic quality are trash, hence I'll pass
