Northern Ireland was a nightmare of a war zone in my childhood and teenage years. This song and video reflects that. Unfortunately it's now Ukraine and Gaza that brings back memories. Tragedy so many places in the world it seems.
Wauw, it IS great! Really! I've been liking it since my childhood, and it's always been like " Yeej, Crenberries!! Ouu, I want cranberry jam! Mom!! "=D
I always saw this as a powerful musical and lyrical art protest against the endless violence that justifies violence and destroys both human and economic wealth, without creating or conserving much. It's been the same 'O.D. since 1916,' the outbreak of the First World War. I studied the history of the First World in great detail with a good professor in class and I have experience with the ugliness of violence; and I agree. We decided there would be no more Darwinian war games neither squid games; If they wanted a real war, we would make it so terrible and scientifically shocking they would accept orderly peace and back off in terror from any small and thoughtful alienated, marginalized being with a voice.
@thatcrazybrendankid WTF is wrong with u? If you can't see why we like this song then why did you bother hearing it? First of all, their use of the term 'zombies' is completely metaphorical. Through it, in a way, it's like they're questioing the fighters from the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and the Brits that fought in 1916, asking them if they can think with their own heads about all the deaths they've been causing or have they just turned into zombies following someone elses orders blindly :/
It relates to the IRA CHILD MURDERING SCUM WHO STARTED THEIR BOMBINGS IN MY COUNTY 1ST. THATS WHY WE GOT INVOLVED 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
@@Karmaisfouryou869 they are talking about the IRA which was at war with the British since 1916 this song was released about 1993-94 after a IRA bomb killed 2 children in Warrington UK in 1993
What happened? The Irish fought with such ferocity for their culture, country and people, but today It's all but gone, wiped away without a single bullet or even a raised word. A tidal wave of mass immigration and identity politics. Were they just too worn from years of fighting that they surrendered and submitted almost instantly? As she says, war is fought in the head and this new global destructive force of phycological neo-Marxism was just too much. The modern west is all lost, ready for the global digital feudal system. Nations and cultures are superfluous to their requirement.
The raw pain and desperation, you'll never get another song like this ever
Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

@SuperFly1077 1916 is when the IRA or the IRB started fighting to end England's control of Ireland. WW2 was from 1939-1945.
Listen you started your murdering campaign in my country first 🏴 so fcuk you CHILD MURDERING PIRA SCUM.
British control not England’s control

the absolute worst part when listening and watching zombie is that 99% of people wont even know what it's about, which is a disgusting thought.
