At Rally Sweden I filmed some behind-the-scenes from early in the week as me and Elliott did the recce and worked on our pacenotes - hope you find it interesting!

Brilliant vlog! Elliot is just as much of a natural in front of the camera, as Oliver is. Comes across just as positive and genuine as Oliver, and with his more relaxed and calm appearance makes a good contrast to Oliver's energetic enthusiasm. They seem a perfect match. No wonder they get the results they get - when the car doesn't stall.
Thank you for this video and explanation of the pacenotes. They have been a mystery to me for years, but now I have a basic understanding of what the co-driver is speaking! 👍🏆

Yes we did the recce last time and will do this time - we recce before every event :) loved seeing Kenya, an amazing country!

I've always wondered what the difference between our pacenotes and recce and your international teams were. We don't wear team suits while going over the notes 😅

What I always wanted to know is why do almost all co-drivers sound the same? ie; high pitch voice, sounding Irish. :P
A lot of drivers find that accent easiest and clearest - even international drivers often like British pacenotes, it's good on the ear! :)
