Cons and pros as per my opinion: Cons - We lack money , infrastructure, sanitation, cleanliness, public transport is awful for foreign tourists , legal safety, so many other facilities - some can be developed or improved in short run and something needs time atleast 5 years Pros - i commented the same in Maldives short , we literally have every kind of tourist destinations from pilgrimage to entertainment and for exploring as single to honeymoon destination and lot of nature
Thank you for adding the informational opinion. Just one addition to your comment - I do not agree with your con "we lack money" There is no shortage of money in India. In fact India has the best customer base in the entire world right now. That is why all global companies want a share of it. Govt is collecting aggressive amounts of taxes from all sides. The only issue Tourism is not a high priority to pour more investments.
The reason I follow this man due to clear data , facts , particularly unbiased presentation with good quality content which is so hard to find because either so much toxic and crap content available or godi media and other media brothel house who run for political parties .
We have so much to offer but from north to south and west to east but people are just visiting Agra Delhi and Varanasi. Thanks to social media travel influencers are coming across to many places now a days but we lack facilities around them. The infrastructure and every thing is lacking and the scams that are happening creates a negative impact on our tourism. Even in Lakshadweep vs Maldives debate. It’s no doubt that Lakshadweep is beautiful but it is Still not developed and lack infrastructure. It’s just we have so much potential but we are very late to this boat we will still need time to unlock its full potential. And also the cleanliness and civic sense is something which we need to focus on which harms our tourism
Foreign Tourists also like to go to places to relax. In India, they get overstimulated and irritated by the overcrowding, honking, dirty roads, food poisoning, foreigners rates and scams etc. India needs : 1. Cleanliness 2. Equal pricing for all tourists. 3. Facilities to visit a place like metro etc. The places and monuments are maintained very well but the journey to them is made very difficult. It is always about the journey not the destination.
first is the cost of flying to India, Dubai has been asking for more flights, But Scindia, the aviation minister wont give them more them permission to fly in more planes, Once Emirates Airlines are given more seats, the cost of flying will come down, we can drink alcohol and watch Dubai fountain, in this Islamic country but look at Kovalam beach, drinking alcohol is banned in beach side restaurant. The mindset has to change.

Religious Temples , Mosque , Churches are not for Tourism . God is not for Business . But In India , Tourism is Mainly Impacted by Religious and Political Factors . Most of the Foreign people came to India for Tajmahal , Forts , Beaches , landscapes , Caves, Rivers, Nature , and observing Beauty for Indian Culture .
We Indian's LOVE CRICKET ... Not only Because of We Love Sports but most of the Indian's love BETTINGS thats why Cricket is Most Popular in INDIA non other than any Sport . After Cricket We mostly love Kabaddi because in kabaddi also we can make Bettings 😂😂
