      My pleasure John,
As with all my videos, I'm always here to answer your questions and help with any practical experience I have 🙂

I changed the seals a few times on my Hasselblad, but, so far, I haven't had to change them on my RZ67. The Hassie was easy - hoping it would be the same when I have to change them on my RZ67. It seems to be similar. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Believe me, it's one of those jobs that's worse thinking about doing than actually doing! Oh, and so satisfying when you've done it!

Good Job.. I hated replacing the seals in the RB67 S, so after replacing the foam seals, I got a RB 67 SD...problem solved!

Ha! I may go that way in the end ... but I'm kinda attached to my first 'personal' RB. I'd always used rental ones or ones belonging to the studio I used to work for ... but buying one was always too expensive to justify when my living was made in 35mm (and to a lesser extent 6x6 for weddings).

@@ashsphotolounge Agreed... Now I have 2 bodies... but bought about 3 years ago before the price craziness took effect

liked the vid but missed the most important seal of all THE DARK SLIDE SEAL! nobody seems to know how to do this one including me!

I will look into this. I used to use RBs professionally many years ago and have to admit that I found it was usually the back door seals (especially the hinge side) that caused leaks. Not personally had a dark slide light leak except when slides themselves were dented, bent and messed up! Then a new dark slide solved the issue (you can get replacements from China now for very little money, though what their quality is like I can't say. I think the slide light seal should be fairly easy to replace as I've done light seal 'velvets' on 5x4 and 7x5 film holders in the past. If someone has a spare back they are willing to let me practise on - we are 'game on'!

So I did the back ok but the rotating RB plate looks a bit dodgy. What can you say is the most important seal to pay extra attention to or if do 1st? My rear RB Pro S to back square sear is a bit fiddly to get cut to size in 1 go

Really enjoyed your video. I just inherited a collection of 31 film cameras of all eras along with various lenses. Included is an RB67. Watching your video helped me to appreciate how well the previous owner cared for his. The only issue I've found is my lack of knowledge about it, which I'm trying to rectify by watching videos such as yours. One question. I removed the film back but can't get it back on. Is there a trick to it?

Thanks for your comment. Okay the back latches might not be right back. There are little pins at the ends of the latches that you can push in and that allows the twin thumb operated latches to slide fully back. This issue is usually caused by the fact that often the back can accidentally be removed by only opening one latch and tilting the back. Of course one latch remains partly closed so the back won't seat properly and lock in when you try to put it back on. Hope this helps
