Man the crowd DIDN’T appreciate Dariush Gamrot, people don’t know how tuff it is to wrestle in a standard 6 or 9 minute match. Imagine a 15 minute wrestling match where you can get punched, kicked, kneed or elbowed 😭 cardio was amazing
Dariush keeping the action going against Gamrot is impressive. Anytime Gamrot looked close to be dominant Beneil turned the tables on him on the mat and the feet.
@jabron destoroyah same a lot of people write off Dariush but he's the only guy facing the new blood at 155 and proving he deserves his spot unlike Dustin Justin, and Chandler
Gamrot in 2 out of 3 fights 🔥🔥 And yes we can argue who won the fight Gamrot or Tsarukyan , i personalny think that Gamer won that fight but Gamer in his first fight lost with Guram Kutaterkadze and i watched that fight view times and he should won, even Guram told in the octagon interview that Mateusz won that
It's insane. There's this whole generation of elite fighters that can't seem to rise in the rankings because the guys above them won't fight them. Islam, Fiziev, Arman, Damir, Gamrot and Guram.. Beneil and Charles Oliveira are arguably even part of a previous generation of elite fighters who faced the same problem (alongside Khabib, Tony, Rustam Khabilov, Diego Ferreira, Taisumov) and who had to go on insane win-streaks to make it to the top.
yeah I think if you dodge too much and do not fight for a year+, your ranking should decay and then you must fight lower rank fighters to climb back. But the truth is that the ranking is used as a promotional tool rather than an actual ranking system, and is rigged to give privileged to star fighters or star matchups. Obviously, if it's too rigged people would complain so they can't do everything.
@@TigerAlert beneil was top5 lw in 2016. Lost 2 fights was banished from the rankings, and had to win 8 in a row to get back in the top5. Chandler is 2-3 and is still ranked 5th. Tf is wrong bruh
@@ferdblu1946 Yes that's because Dana prefer Chandler who is explosive and makes him a lot of money per fight. The entire time the channel's been up I've been slowly moving, and so right now my set up doesn't allow to consistently get the good audio. Once I get fully moved in the next couple weeks I hope it improves, but like you point out I also hope things don't get copyright claimed more either. Always open to suggestions on the audio though for simple set ups
I saw Ismagulov and Kuteladze fight live and I left thinking that it was fight of the night in my opinion. The crowd just didn’t understand how high level that fight actually was.
Beniel will be underrated until he gets the title and then people will pretend they knew how good he was the whole time. He does everything correct. Not flashy but just keeps making the right moves.
I really think the lightweight belt will go islam -> Dariush -> Tsarukyan. Dariush has the control and balance to not get controlled by Islam and has better striking. Then Tsarukyan has the body kicks that will give Dariush problems and probably get a decision. Of course far future predictions but that's how I see it
whats up with DC discrediting the winning/underdog fighters the entire fight, multiple times, then giving them the most half-assed praise at the end of the fight lol
Only in my opinion Gamrot and Tsarukyan should be alreday top 5 ? That sad how Lightweight top 5 is stuck by Chandler, Poirier and Gaethje , they will not survive 3 rounds with that animals ..
To this day , I still believe Tsarukyan defeated Gamrot by delivering the most damage. (not only with high kicks, but also the spinning back fist that knocked Gamrot down was beautiful, although not counted as a KD) Unfortunately, in this particular fight, judges scored control time and takedowns as more valuable than damage. (which is literally the opposite of what the MMA rules read, putting Damage as the #1 criteria) But hey, Arman will find his way to the title contention, and Gamrot already dropped one against a top G in Beneil, who, for me, is the biggest challenge for Islam. Cheers to the creator for this awesome compilation.
I still feel like Armen was robbed against Gamrot. Great performance from both but the takedowns Gamrot got were more scrambles than control while Armen got the backfist knockdown, body kicks, and other more significant strikes.
@@harjas268 I don’t want to come off like every competitive fight is a robbery… but when damage is the prime scoring objective it feels undeniable that Armen got shafted.

What do you want them to do cheer in middle of wrestling, go watch bjj or wrestling matches people stay quiet and enjoy. Bumass all over the world
I remember when I was watching it that the entire card before it was so ass that I reckon everyone was just fatigued by this point
Facts my gas tank would be spent after 5 mins
Gamrot’s scrambles win or lose are so fun to watch
Benny's shut out of Gamrot should be a legendary moment of 2022. His grit and pace led him to a victory over a guy who is such a talented wrestler
He’s earned a title shot
He legit may have solved the Dagistani style
I think he's earned a shot as well, and solving that little puzzle wasn't easy at all
Dariush is like Counter for Gamrot. This knee when gamrot trying to take him down was really inteligent

Benny didn't accept bottom position once, always worked to get up and then punish ehe entries of Gamrot
I feel like Gamrot, Tsarukyan and Dariush can give Islam A LOT of trouble. They’re just so scrappy on the ground and never surrender the position.
Thinking the same, Dariush needs to face him if he wins vs Alex
I woulda loved to see that Islam vs Dariush fight happen
Dariush deserves the title shot

This is just a great hype video for Gamrot. Dude has tons of potential in the division and has exciting fights.
He lost this fight tho
I love how Gamrot is involved in two of these and in the other fight, the two fighters have either fought Gamrot or Tsarukyan
I wish damir was still fighting, him, arman, gamrot and kutateladze were the future of the division
all fights were great
I don't think Damir has been officially cut from the roster. Could be the company want him to cool off and really consider his retirement.
He said he goes doing one more fight then hes retiring
