If you mean mini usb port, you can. A mini usb to uscb C converter can do the job.

Huion is more value for money. But wait for a few weeks if you can. New models of both the brands might launch, I don't know exactly when.

h1161 is a good product and very reliable, its sturdy and long lasting. Huion as a brand is growing in India on a little faster pace than xp and other brands. But I can't say about the customer service as they have no service centres here in India, so if your product goes defective,....I don't think you can do anything but send it back to China and get it fixed, which clearly doesn't make sense.
What about buying huion h640p now at the end of 🤔2022
I’d suggest a Huion RTS 300 now.

It can be a little tricky for the young ones. I'd prefer a touch screen device and a stylus for that purpose.

Yes, I used blender 3D program and it worked, though I don't know much about 3D sculpting, but I tried a few sculpting brushes.

Both brands are producing good entry level tablets, but wacom is giving wireless support in some of them, also pricing is competitive. Old Wacom products always get updated drivers for the latest operating systems, Huion lacks such updates.
