- For the 35th Annual Tejano Music Awards, Ruben Ramos sings "Tu Solo Tu", Isabel Marie Sanchez sings "No Me Queda Mas", Pete Astudillo sings, "Como La Flor", and Patsy Torres sings "Dreaming of You" for a Selena Tribute fit for the Queen of Tejano.
Pete's performance.......brought tears to my eyes. Especially since......he co-wrote the song.....and knew her so well.
His performance was the only one that did any of her songs justice. He’s such an amazing artist

You know these people were inspired by Selena. They all love and miss her. Y’all are already saying no one can sing her songs better so why do you want better performers if you are going to bash on anyone who is Selena. I’m thankful THAT ANYONE is singing her music and keeping her memory alive. Selena would never disrespect anyone and these comments are horrible. I may not know Selena but she was never disrespectful and y’all need to check those mouths of yours and appreciate that everyone here at least did something. This is beautiful. And I think everyone put their heart into it and did the best they could. Thank you.

There is NOTHING WRONG with us not liking the tribute performances. We understand that the they want to honor Selena, but more effort should ha e been put into selecting the RIGHT people to perform!
The reason Dreaming of You is such a hard song to sing is because Selena put her heart when she singed it, she was thinking about Chris her husband love of her life so she singed it with love and heart. The only singer that can sing that song is Bruno Mars, he did in a Hawaii performance paid tribute to the Queen Selena 💜

I agree with the comment that says no one can sing 🎤🎶Selena songs but Selena. Pete & Patsy did an amazing job with Selena songs. Coming from a non Latino female( African American woman), the tribute to Selena felt like it was rushed & it was unbearable to watch & listen to. I felt like that the tribute to Selena was not rehearsed by the artists, but, it was a last minute idea by the artist & the show creators. 💯 In my opinion, this tribute was very disrespectful & disappointing to Selena’s memory & legacy. 💯 I always try to have a positive outlook about things. 💯 I fell in love with Selena’s music, legacy, & her as a person 27 years ago. 💯 A huge Selena fan forever. 💜💜💜💖💖💖

this was a horrible group of people... the first one was adorable. .. but should have been in a karaoke bar with thag, Isabel beautiful voice I expected more but she was rushing (singing too fast), Pete great instrumentals to a beautiful song, but it was a boring performance I felt zero emotions in such a great instrumental... patsy it was plain but the best out of all of them..

Yeah that was kind of hard to watch at some points. One girl in particular (I don't know who she was) was dressed really skanky and didn't seem to know what event she was at. It was disrespectful. But I loved Kumbia Kings, Pete Astudillo, Soraya/ Barrio Boyzz & Gloria Estefan.

oh haha wow i was so off. tbh yes, the singers here werent superb but even in her 10 year tribute tv special on univision with famous singers, the tribute wasnt COMPLETELY outstanding. some performances were nice tho. i think we just keep expecting someone to sing her songs the way she did and thats never going to happen. her voice was pretty unique and special.

i'm not trying to sound negative in anyway but i have to say this award show for as long as it has been going on it never got a proper upgrade i mean for 1. the stage is small theres not much to it 2.this tribute was poorly put together from the first guy singing with a water bottle in his hand to the girl sing no me queda mas who was clearly nervous which is understandable but still and the lady singing dreaming of you i mean that was just not good lol 3. Pete was the only good thing about this tribute. They could of done way better especially since Selena performed and won so many awards from this show.
