I did the walk to Santo Domingo in June 2018 battling heat and thunderstorms. So much nicer for your walk today. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. you are both inspirational😊
Well we remember the day we did that long windy hill climb ! We got Apple Watch warnings about catastrophic weather conditions, and the risk of permanent hearing loss due to the decibels of the wind. As there was nothing we could do about the weather, no where to get off the trail, so we struggled on and were fortunately unscathed. Loving your travels, cheers from Adelaide
Hi Michael. Ciruena was chosen by private developers as the 'next big thing' during the economic boom. When the depression of 2008 hit, entire developments were left empty. The population today is 139. Cheap place to buy a home if you love golf. Buen Camino

The facilities including the swimming pool are still maintained. Such a shame.
