- David Pawson notes a radical shift in style, content and viewpoint from Genesis chapter 1 to chapter 2. In chapter 1, God was the centre and everything was from His perspective. Chapter 2, man is the centre. There are 3 dimensions to our relationships which every human needs - with God above, with creatures below and with other people. When sin comes in, all these relationships are spoiled. There is an affinity with God that humans have and animals don’t, because we were made in his image. We are like God and yet not like God. We need to keep that balance to have a good relationship with Him. God retains moral authority over us. He has the right to tell us what is good for us. Science poses two questions in relation to creation. Where does prehistoric man fit in? and Is man directly and physically related to the animal world? David gives answers. Nothing has yet been found that is half ape, half man. Mutations deform and cause species to die out. Inter-breeding usually causes sterility. The effect of the evolution theory on humans is devastating suffering. Fascism, capitalism, communism and early colonialism all wiped people out in the name of progress and “survival of the fittest”. This idea when applied to human beings, has caused more suffering than any other idea. It has also faced us with two huge choices, a mental choice as to what we believe and a moral choice, what we do. .

I love Jesus Christ! He called me to him after being an atheist for 13 years ❤️ God loves his animals, and they are such a gift to us. There have been times when people have hurt me to the point that my best friend was my dog, who I considered a gift to me from my Lord. People are imperfect, and He knew I needed her. He blessed me by allowing her to live to the age of 22 years ❤️ In fact, as I’m typing this, the humans in my house are intoxicated in the kitchen, and not being very nice. However, as I sit here to study the Bible, my innocent animal sits with me staring at me in adoration and asking for snuggles. Whether one believes that God molded us from clay, or if He intelligently evolved all life on earth like the Master artist He is... it doesn’t matter. No matter how we got here, I know that God did it 🙏🏻 We have souls that are made in His image, and we are the only creature capable of immense cruelty, while also being able to consciously know that we should be doing what is right. When kids are taught evolution and turn into bad people, they aren’t acting like animals. Animals can’t sin. They’re acting like imperfect humans ☹️

I agree. I've stumbled across him in another video on 'Believers in Hell' He was engaging, articulate, easy to understand. He also shared with us of being terminally ill and I read from another post he has passed away and gone to be with the Lord. Abstract conceptual thought is the purest expression of spirit, and also necessary for moral awareness. It's what makes humans in the image of God, I currently think.
I prayed and asked God to provide me a bible that would please him (in rediscovering my faith). Going to various charity shops i finally enocountered a new Jerusalem bible. A pleasent surprise. I honestly thought my efforts would be more fruitful. However im glad they werent. Or else i may not have in my possession this beautiful bible.
I have noticed stark differences in translation when ive compared it to an online version of the ESV bible.
However, i believe this is the bible i am supposed to read for now. I asked and i received.

12:55 so much deep insight into this chapters 1-3. yes, man had to continue to eat of the fruit of the tree of life to live forever. even when he has become spirit being after this world comes to an end, he still has to eat from the tree of life which is in the city of god in the new earth.
I think being born from above in the Spirit by trusting Jesus brings us eternal life (zoe🙏🏻)
We will be free to eat from the Tree but we will already be eternal in Christ🙏🏻🤷🏼♀️

I love David Pawson since I discovered him on CZcams for a view months now. But many of the Genesis-related subjects I rather share Kent Hovinds opinium on the age of the earth.
Also I believe that the part in Scripture where it says: ''a day is like thousands years and vica versa for the LORD'' that point to the age of the earth and the end times.
According to the Jewish calander we are in the year 5776 (it has been a bit miscalculated) and since God made 7 days in one week - each day stands for a 1000 years.
We are promised that Jesus comes back and will reign for 1000 with real peace (last day of the week is the Sabbath).
Wenn the earth is reaching to 6000 years we can see signs of the last days, evil, wars, people attitude etc.
Anyway, I pray that all viewers will be blessed and educated for our Lords Kingdom!

Most compelling info against evolution is that if things changed slowly over time then why don’t we see any evidence of the evolution of the eyeball over many millions of years? Cause complexity of the eye could not have evolved into a more complex organ

Some of them were doubtless Nephelim. Also, certain bones never stop growing in man. The bone of the forehead is one example. Elderly people have a very different appearance as they age. What would the skull look like after 969 years of growth?
You may be correct but the word Nepehim is often translated as Giant - so it was not just their foreheads that had grown

Yes Mr Pawson, it matters. God said He made Adam and Eve from dust and placed us in His creation. Science may catch up.
Science says that corn was domesticated some 7000 years ago from a wild plant in Mexico called Teosinte. It therefore appears David is confusing corn with some other grain when he refers to grain agriculture in ancient Middle East.

Lord Donald Soper was a famous Methodist Preacher 1903 - 1998 - he would preach open air at "Speakers Corner" Hyde Park London. Im not aware there are many recordings of him speaking - he was a very well known 'politician of his day', quite outspoken but more of a social reformer, pacifist and campaigner for nuclear disarmament - than know as a bible teacher - but very much respected

"Prehistoric men" are just men from before/during the days of Noah when humans lived for many hundreds of years. Their brows etc developed much more than modern man. They had denser bone structures.

Adaptation is evolution in broader term not in Darwinian sense. Your skin gets burnt, then it gets tanned and the color changes - this is the concept of evolution , and because it is on micro scale and limited it is called adaptation. I fact the same kind of cells form different structure when the environment condition changes.
I believe in unnatural selection. God controlled the evolution of organisms by directing the right cosmic rays etc in the right directions at the right time to get to us.

Chapter 3 tells how the first Adam lost his mind and became like an unwise animal .....
i.e. died spiritually as a man.
Further, the Scriptures call people sheep, because in Adam all became such, and Christ the Lamb, because He, being the image of God, did not honor the plunder of being equal to God;
but he humbled himself, taking the form of a slave, making himself like men, and becoming like a man by appearance;
And then ... you need to get to the second tree (the Cross is the tree of LIFE), by which the Lamb "will die" and the MAN will resurrect eternal life ...

I like to know when this was filmed. It has been learned why we age. It's built into us, some experimentation on heavily modified rats have been done that don't age to getting old as long as given a certain substance in there food. There is an animal in nature that doesn't age, and only dies when killed.

Henry V there number of them. The one I was thinking of is a kind of crab. Your cells can only be divided so many times without losing the end of DNA that being copied. Anyways they all still die. Old age not the only thing that kills. Disease, being killed, nature, cars...... if they did find a way to "fix" aging in people we probably all die before 150 years from cancer. (Cancer cells are immortal after all too. Again I don't mean they can't be destroyed. So maybe I need a better word, I just can't think of one.)

There is no evidence for evolution. Ask any evotionist
The notion that all animals were herbivores prior to the flood is intellectual suicide to any sane biologist. Were T. rex, tigers, sharks, really herbivores???? God's first bible, the first expression of God, of the Living Word, is nature itself which tells us that these animals are indeed designed as carnivores. We use human logic in all good exegesis. Christians historically used it to recognise that the earth is indeed a globe and not a flat plane as earlier believed. They recognised that the biblical description of the earth sitting on pillars and the four corners of the earth were not literal expressions. When there is a mountain of evidence that logically tells us that nature was full of carnivores from the time of creation then we need to humbly interpret the passages correctly. They do not say that animals were all vegetarians or that they were ONLY given plants for food. The bible is not a comprehensive complete statement on biology. If nature says something obvious, then let God's first textbook guide your rational and proper exegesis of the bible. Don't unnecessarily look like modern day flat earthers!!!! You do not serve the gospel with such views.

No. Because that then becomes an exception to the rule. He is talking about a situation where all things are equal.
If any child is being abused then that child would take precedence. I don't think you can extrapolate from what David Pawson is saying that he has no concern for children (If that is what you're saying)

He is very humanly informative and insightful. He lacks the total Bible overview approach to his teachings and thus, he is a false teacher of note.
At least he needs a correct Torah bird 🐦view to keep his teaching perspective in divine alignments.
1. Genesis is teaching us the plan of God (the mindset of God)
2. Exodus is teaching us the strategy of God - How God is executing his plan.
3. Leviticus is teaching us the project of God - what exactly is God doing.
4. Numbers is teaching us about the resource that God is using.
5. Deuteronomy is all about the conclusion.
The teaching that fails to help people to understand God's plan, strategy, resource, and project is misleading.
Sir. You dont know what a false teacher is. Jesus and Paul made it clear and Mr Pawson certainly did not fall in this category.
