Thanks for showing us inside the train as I’m travelling as a family of 4 Same route as you for the first time and I was worried about our big cases. Looks like they will be ok though. What was the rough time between landing at Basel to arriving at SBB station do you reckon? So including all the airport stuff like security, collecting bags, getting outside, waiting for number 50 bus, getting to SBB then finding your way to the platform? I’m wondering if it can be done in an hour so I can plan my trains. Thanks! And thank you for the videos!

Getting off and collecting bags at Basel took 20 minutes. Waited for bus for about 10 minutes. Bus journey was about 15-20 minutes. Finding the platform is very quick and easy. Just went inside and straight up the escalator then saw all the platforms. I had the worry at first about getting on the right time train, but even if you miss it, I believe it still doesn’t matter if you get on a later train after the one you booked. The staff were never about when you get on the train, but just as a rough idea I would suggest giving yourself about 1-2 hours. You might want food, to relax, go toilet etc, so think about the things perhaps we don’t often think about as well

@@Coastercarnage cheers mate, really helpful reply; sounds like an hour is too tight then, pretty sure my ticket allows any train after the stated time like you say, was just looking at how early I could potentially get there. Thanks!
