From the manual I found online: Q: I hear the fan turning, but I don't see any mist. Is my humidifier operating properly? A: Dry air is pulled through the system and a fan disperses invisible, moisture balanced air. There is no "mist" emitted. When operating normally you will feel only cool air coming from the unit. Monitor the water level in your Tank/ Base. If you notice a decrease in the Water Tank over 24 hours then the unit is operating normally.
I'm wondering. But her video doesn't show it either.. I can smell the scent pad though. I'll wait for it maybe steam mist will come out later on. Since I just opened mine today. Been bought it a while back

You need to put the little pads in the small hole in the front. You don't need to smell it. That will work as a vaporized. Works good for.me, I brought the pads at Walgreens, Amazon whenever. Perfect for allergies seasonal .
I just got mine yesterday & swear I can't hear the thing running at all. Even while it's on high. And I can't seem to smell those vapor scent pads that I also got for free in the box.
@@Lopezflies888 Well I think there's times where you won't see any steam at all, like when the water goes down a bit. But for the most part there should be a blast of steam coming out pretty consistently.

The blue light on the front is so bright that I can't sleep. It lights up the whole room. What were they thinking?
I cut tape and covered up the lever to block the light.

You can get a generic one. Its number 3900 for this model.

Mine is not having steam come out also.
The steam is invisible.
This is an evaporative humidifier. There won't be visible steam. That is with ultrasonic or warm mist humidifiers.
How often do you have to put the filter in water?
I just bought mine for 55 dollars, I am wondering if I payed too much. Also, do you know why no steam comes out? I am so dissapointed
It's cool mist so there's no steam my wife was super disappointed also, also paid the 60 dollars which made the no steam even more disappointing lol.
