Random thought- One thing I always thought is that making Dark type moves special attacks was an error. Literally all of them are contact moves from Gen 2-3. Most introduced Dark Types in this generation also have higher attack than special attack, barring houndoom. Even Umbreon has very slightly higher attack than special attack. Most psychic types have lower defense than special defense. Dark Types were created to balance Psychic types. Sneasel is one of the worst Pokémon battle-wise in Gen 2 and it didn’t have to be. Also, ghost being physical, wtf? Yeah that helps vs psychic types but there’s only two ghosts Gengar and Misdreavus. Both have higher special attack than attack.

So happy to see such unloved Pokémon such as the speedy dragon slaying 'sea urchin' that is Puff get some spotlight. I've learned a lot of interesting info from this video regarding Gold/Silver and I hope you learned now that minimise increases the damage received from Stomp (that was a painful thing to witness you do... repeatedly). I look forward to more of these!

I made a ROM hack of G/S where Qwilfish evolves into Shibirefugu at level 18, a nod to it's beta design, Puku, which evolved into Shibirefugu at level 18. In the ROM hack, Qwilfish's stats were lowered to 335, and Shibirefugu's base stat total is 460.

The most underrated Pokémon card has to be Dark Golbat. The Pokémon power allows you to deal damage with the card still in your hand, to any of your opponents Pokémon.

  • @tatertot57

The reason Miltank was destroying Qwilfish with Stomp when it connected is because in Gen 2, whenever Stomp connects on a Pokémon that has used Minimize, the damage dealt is doubled.

You need to make Venomoth’s type a running joke said with all seriousness. “But I’m not worried, since Venomoth is a fire/electric type”.
And you do know you can tell your Mum/Mom to stop saving your money if you just go and talk to her. You can also move between non/daylight savings time if it happens in the middle of a run. Have fun with these things.
    Mum: Is it daylight savings?
You: how are you not keeping track of these things? You’re a grown woman.

Spikes is actually really good because even A.I. trainers have to send in pokemon which means that unless they are flying type they will take damage. Qwilfish learns it because it is a mine as well as a pufferfish. Defense curl boosts rollout simply because you are already in the shape of a ball so you can get up to speed sooner. Really simple logic there. Chikorita is not weak, it just happens to be defensive oriented which makes miltank a breeze with its mid stage evolution. Try playing through crystal with a Meganium starting from a Chikorita. You will know what I mean.

  • @alexisthetransgenderduelis4211

A random fact that cost me a Ho-oh as a kid. The NPC you're supposed to deliver Kenya to doesn't actually check for Kenya, instead they check for the mail
If you move the mail to another Pokemon without erasing it, they'll take that Pokemon from you.

On the theme of obscure Johto mons - the Hoppip-Jumpluff line would be a good one. I've always known it to be rather terrible, so it would be cool to see if it can manage. Hippop doesn't get a damaging move until level 10 so I probably would cheat it to have tackle immediately.
