- A front entry refresh and window inserts were on the bus conversion to do list this week. Certainly was a little easier than assembling hundreds of pounds of IKEA kitchen cabinetry.

Thank you so much Marsha and I will try to pace myself. ❤️
Getting excited for you. Bus is looking great.
Thank you Brigitte! ❤️
Brilliant and admire how your renovation is progressing. Alyssa is a gorgeous individual and she will give you lots of creative inspiration and also where her journey has brought to now. Hugs 🍀🍀😺😺🇮🇪🇮🇪💚💚🍀🍀ps I love yours hair.
Thank you Angela! I’m enjoying watching Alyssa’s progress on her cottage. ❤️
🍀💚🍀🇮🇪💚💚🍀🍀
You’re doing great Zia! Keep up your positive attitude, I so admire that 😊
Thank you so much!! ❤️
It was so wonderful to see you! Thanks for two lovely days. And I am so excited for you as your bus progresses. A lot of work but so so worth it!
Thank you, I really enjoyed it too Jane!
Wow, things are looking so good! I'm sure it's overwhelming and I like your idea to make a list to prioritize the projects.
As for your visit and possibly doing a live...I don't think I have enough internet upload speed 😩LOL. But we'll do something for sure. I can't wait to see you.
Thanks Adelina! Hmmm, I didn’t think about upload speed. 🫤Can’t wait to see you either. ❤️
You've made so much progress. It's starting to look homey.
Thank you Liz!❤️
Emma II is coming along beautifully. You are working so hard to get on the road. We will be looking forward to your future travels. Try to not over do it. Easier said than done, I know.
Awww, thank you so much Keith! Lol, I’m trying to pace myself. ❤️
The new entrance will look so inviting and cozy. Good job on the window cut-outs. I would still be re-measuring and cutting and re-measuring…..Looking forward to future updates and seeing your comfy chair in its new home
Awww, thanks Lisa but lol, I did make some mistakes!❤️
Hi Zia! I really enjoy your videos and love how you decorate. I am 59 and dream of doing what you are. I am inspired by you and hope I can do the same when I can stop working and begin a life of travel and freedom. I thought for a cup holder, when I used to camp, I had a cheap cooler with 4 built in cup holders. The inside could be used for storage or for as intended as a cooler. Could be used both inside and out for a cup holder and cold storage outside. I hope this suggestion helps! 😊 Every thing that you do is progress no matter the size of the job, or how long it takes. You got this, Girl! 👍☑️ 🌙
Hi Bonita and thanks so much! I hope you get to fulfill your dream. The cooler with cup holders is a great idea…I hadn’t thought of that option. 🚐❤️🇨🇦
BTW you can get a couple of body pillows to stuff up in those above the cab windows. They sell pillow cases for them or you can sew your own. 😊
Great idea and I do have one! 😃
I love seeing the transformation of your bus! You are doing a great job! Hello from Australia :)
Hi and thanks so much! ❤️
...it's coming together niceIy... l've enjoyed watching/Iistening as you have gone through your new adventure. The space is taking on your *beautifuI energy* :)
Awww, thanks so much for your kind words! 😊❤️
Take your time and new ideas will flourish. Have a good week Zia.❤
Thanks Douglas and I hope you have a good week too! ❤️
It's looking great! You are an inspiration! Yea for the comfy chair! We all need a favorite comfy chair. I think you'll be very comfortable and content in your new bus.
Thank you! Yes, we all need our special, comfy chair. 🚐❤️🇨🇦
For the staiins on your ceiling you may want to try steam cleaning the fabric it will save replacing it you can also buy fabric paint to paint the ceiling Amazon has a good selection of cup holders and consoles that can be attached to your dash, door or floor
Thanks for all the tips Lori. I will be leaving the carpet on the ceiling, for extra insulation and soundproofing, but will cover it with something. I did think about painting it, unfortunately it has too much pile for that. I will check out your cup holder suggestions.❤️
You're doing things right ! Quickly deployable, fast, bullet proof privacy should be first, #1. Then, anything going in through the body and roof. Skylights, exhaust fans, etc. Lastly, everything else in your build inside. Work from the outside, in. Good luck and 👍 Rock on 🙂.
Thanks for the tips and encouragement! 🚐❤️🇨🇦
Looking good! Cheers from Richmond😊
Thanks Doug! 😊 Are you in Richmond, VA or Richmond, BC?
Keep going…you’ll get there
Thanks Alison!😊
You are getting it done Zia. One project at a time. I like what you are doing to the entrance of the bus. Looking good. 👍😊🚐❤
Thanks Sue! ❤️
Relax and enjoy the journey!😊
Thank you, I will.❤️
Yes this is almost identical to what Ruth Aisling did in her camper van. 👍🏻…it’s looking good! 😊
Thanks, I did check out her video after you suggested it. ❤️
Such exciting progress on Emma II. Slowly but surely it’ll all come together. Your trip to Oregon sounds exciting! I think a live with Adelina would be great!
Thanks Tina! I’m really looking forward to Oregon and seeing Adelina. ❤️
😊Great Job 😊
Thanks! ❤️
Looks nice!
Thanks! 😊
I hung my coats up behind the drivers seat and during the summer they all had fade patches from the sun
Thanks Susan, I didn’t think about that possibility! 🫤
You're giving me the fever to build one.........
Lol, happy to encourage you! 😄
Have you given a shout out for possibly a retired person w/experience in conversions? I really think you need help. Also my suggestion is to consider what is utmost important to you to complete. Would you rather do the little stuff 1st or larger since you will be travelling soon?
Thanks for the tips! I’m enjoying doing as much I can myself, but have had help from my son-in-law and friends. I’m on a tight budget, so this won’t be a full conversion right now. I’ll have to save up to do some of the bigger, more expensive projects down the road. 🚐😊
Hi I think you've a lot of work on but will be good when it's done 🙂🌏👋
Yes, I do Trisha, but if all goes according to plan, it should be liveable within a couple of weeks.🤞🏻❤️
@@chasingthemoonrv thankyou 🙂
See you @ the Bus Fair!
That’s great Rachel! Are you in a shuttle, or skoolie, or just checking things out? 🚐🇨🇦❤️
Do you have to have a different class of drivers license to drive the shuttle bus?
Good question! No, I don’t because it’s now registered as an RV, not a commercial vehicle, that transports passengers. 🚐❤️🇨🇦
Wow you made alot of work for yourself but making it your own. Are you getting used to driving it ?
Lol, I really did make a lot of work for myself! I’m enjoying driving the bus and it’s not that different from the van. I just have to remember to take the corners wider. 😊❤️
@@chasingthemoonrv oh awesome!
How do you get the reflective to stay on the windows?
They are pressure fit into the frames and have a little extra help from some black tension rods!😊
@@chasingthemoonrvthank you!!! Love your van conversion
sheer black netting or reflective blank paint? Love the stairs.. Looking good. I've seen good storate on youtube cabs. I don't have the details, so I'm hoping you share .
Thanks Pam! I have been looking at some cab storage, but haven’t found anything suitable so far. ❤️
