  • Hey guys and welcome to my channel!!! This is update video of my aquascape Tusks. The tank is not perfect but I hope you will like the video :)

    Watch part one here • Aquascaping TUSKS (ext...
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This aquascape represents fossilized tusks of some prehistoric animal. The tusks are in a shallow river and stick out of the water,plants grow around the tusks and fish swim between them. How accurate this scene can be I’m not sure, but this is art and everything is allowed :) Are these mammoth or mastodon tusks or even woolly rhino horns??? I'll leave that to your imagination ;)
    Anyway, I'm fascinated by prehistoric animals and that's why I decided to make one aquascape on that subject...
    Thanks for watching and enjoy!!!

    It's a beautiful tank. I like petting plants too. I had problems with hair algae when I used wild rock and wood. The hair algae might originate from that wood. I don't know. I combated it by adding a ton of amano shrimp and scooping the algae out when I cleaned every week. It helped to keep it down.

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks!! I usually get hairy algae at the beginning of the setup and they are present for about 3 months. With regular mechanical removal and tank maintenance they later disappear. The tank is still young and not yet a stable system. It would be OK in a month or so.

    Good video and pretty tank. It made me rethink my LED lamps placement. See, Blyxa japonica is almost completely RED in my tank and stem plants tend to bend and put horizontally. I will try to move lamps higher and see what happens.

I think that a bigger school of them should be so much better and their color all togheter should match up really well with all the green of plants and the white sand, while orange/brown of rasboras isn t so much appropriate with other color
