I was happy to be a part of the record number of tractors on the trails for a “Ohio Offroad Mowers” group ride, did the “King of the Bog” end up how you expected?
Other than Studabaker not making it through, yes.
I would still love to come out and ride some trails even though I couldn't make and through all of them I think it would be a blast
@@johnrodgers1968 keep an eye out on the channel, if we go to this same place this year, everyone will be invited! Last year we went in November
Its got me rethinking my clutch setup. Go Andy!
This is the place to learn how to build a good set-up
@@krakenking1597 for sure bud.
This is FREAKING awesome
Great video. I feel like I need to really upgrade my rig.
Awesome to see that many tractors show up.
Yours would have done great here! I was shocked that many showed!
I'm going to try to build one of these.
You definitely should!
I think Andy was the only one who didn't have belt slip 🤣
Cause he’s got the 212 power!
There not bad for how small there are
From the tape I'm looking over theTightest belt award goes to all these men. Andy, Tom, Donnie Roy and Tyler all had very minimal belt slip. Now the rest of you....have some work to do. I want to see that power put down.
@@MrStudabaker agreed
That was awesome especially the girls rode out real far to participate and gave it a go
You guys are going to keep me building and riding! I hope to join in on a romp before i kick the bucket one day, thanks so much for posting and sharing your info.
what do you mean by kick the bucket?
Nicely done redzz02... Hell of a 3rd tractor major.
Thank you sir
I always enjoy watching your rig kill the mud, well done on the build.
*Need to bring a Dozen Cans of Belt Dressing Spray LOL!!!*
And Some Extra Clutch Springs LOL!!
It was a lot of peoples first ride on locked transaxles, so there belt systems where up to the task, and the rest of us just weren’t prepared lol
1:03 Whose got the Ford lgt?? It looks like a show tractor, way too nice, I've never seen an lgt mudder before!
His name is Dan, nothings too nice to make into an offroad toy
Shaft drive! Those old LGT's are tanks
@@redzz02 I think I've figured out what to do with my Homelite T-16
Looks like fun my tractors ain't set up for the mud like that but I can do pabs
Great adventure
I’d love to bring my sears custom 10xl out there!!!
They are open all year round and mowers are welcome, keep an eye out on the Facebook mower groups next September/November for next years big ride
That why a few of us put 30-40 +lb springs on our pedals
Some of the people in this video has clutch springs that strong, weve finally cracked the code and fixed 99% of belt issues
I have a John deer rear engine I turned into a mid mower my next goal is to stretch it 6 inches and bigger tires
ye ye
Could'nt have said it better myself
Who was that 1st guy to go through the mud he seems like a really cool guy.
Sure is!
livin’ right
What about a 4 wheel motor ztr?...🤔
Build it and they will come
Theres videos of a few here on CZcams
What is the alternative to a belt? Chain? Then just throw a centrifugal clutch on?
Centrifugal clutches don’t work on off-road mowers
@@redzz02 so is there a way to modify a belt driven one? I mangled my rear pulley removing it and was about to order a new one, but if there's a better option I'm all ears
@@willsheehan2975 I still run belts and will continue to run belts and pulleys. The larger the pulleys you can fit the better, I try not to go any smaller than 5” on the front or rear, 1/2” belts seem to grip better than the 5/8 but they don’t last as long, some of us started experimenting with drilling holes into the pulleys to “shed” water but it’s not a fully proven concept yet
Check out my idea💡.
