i gotta respect #24 on Pepperdine's team @6:38 even though he doesn't have a killer jump serve, that overhand serve scored his team 2 aces and you can see the benchwarmers even laughing and cheering for him 🌝
@@rombow1319 I don't think it's a float, there's a spin on the ball when it's in the air and it has a normal arc. The team messed up the 1st one, person was in front of the libero and it was good placement for the 2nd one
Bruh I was like wtf even a grade schooler could’ve stop that and floats tend to always fall at the end of the lines so 😣but just shows you don’t need a strong serve playing it safe is the best idea too
That's interesting, That's why the Olympics are so interesting because you have 2 teams with different styles of play, and you get to watch how they play against each other.
These videos are so easy to pay attention to. The play is simple to follow, the angle makes it very easy to know where everyone is and the transitions from one side of the court to the other is smooth enough to not miss out on the play (mostly because it seems like whoever is filming is trying to predict how far the ball will go, making the movements easier to follow). I learn more from these videos than during practice, and now that Covid is causing havic, this really keeps the motivation up. Thank you

i play volleyball for several years now (Im 23) and i know a lot of ppl that are actually the kind of "silent guys" that are brilliant in volleyball and even learn to interact with their team even if they dont talk too much. Always give it a try, most volleyball players are very nice and its one of the best team sports IMO. Also one of the hardest sports to learn so dont give up quickly if you cant keep up for the first weeks.
The ball was in blue team's part of the court after the block's deflection. To get it back into the game, the white player should have made the ball go through the middle of the net.
MrTimy06 Why would they need it go through the blue part of the net though? It was a legal play from what i thought. You always see men do it in the national teams do it
Derek Newyen There are different rules at different levels of volleyball. You can pursue a ball on the opponent’s side of the net at international level but not at US collegiate level. Once the ball fully crosses the centerline outside the court, it becomes a dead ball.
the reason why he called it the other teams point is because the ball went out from *inside* of the antennas. You can only retrieve a shanked ball if it is going *outside* the antennas, passed back to your side of the court then over. If the ball is heading out on your side of the court its ruled as a block touch out (or if its challenged otherwise).
My Anatomy professor went to UCLA, and he always talks about how trash UCSB was in comparison to that school, as joke. He would bring merch from UCLA and say that they were better. I showed him your volleyball video and he was like "that's the only thing they good at"🤣

4:06, the backrow middle is daydreaming when he could have easily received a tip that was not even that fast, unpredictable or even steep drop.
6:38 He’s got a demon serve
Ted Tofu ;-; that was like the first overhand serve I've seen in college Men's Volleyball😭😭
pretty sure he’s float serving
Oikawa
Angelic more like yamaguchi
weebest the ball has too much rotation to be float serving. it looks like he's just not that skilled at serving.
I love the style of play of the United States, here in Brazil we have the style of high ball and brute force, as a setter I much prefer the fast game

Amazing
I've been watching#9 for so long and so many videos. His jump and strength makes up for his lack of height. A perfect little giant.

How tall are your spikers, IDK if i should worry about my height or not so i'm curious
Casey Mcgarry is such a great pin to pin setter. Joe karlous just goes outside WAY too much. Young setter tho. He’ll find his groove for sure!

is it me or was the ball moving more slowly than normal?

10:25 why is this point to the other team?
Hit the ground before the guy could get under it
This game is very similar to the Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa High
Cheez949 in what way?
shut up
White team has the better setter, I think.
Kinda true
Can someone explain to a german volleyballer why the ball look so light
Because they're good players
How can it ‘look’ light? It’s a Molten, very standard volleyball. Go get one and see it for yourself
Pepperdine’s libero can pass
i hope you read this
Setter's from USCB dumps are so damn agressive
Ill-timed dumps and not really worth attacking, UCSB was lucky that the opposition's defence was not that strong at receiving or positioning.
But in real life
