    @bedimon I haven't tried this on Windows 7 yet, but on XP Windows assumes the USB keyboard is the language of the OS, or whatever PS2 Keyboard driver you have installed.
    So if you plug in a PS2 keyboard, (any language, windows can't tell) then install the Japanese PS2 keyboard driver it will apply to your USB keyboard too.

    You can also click the button above Tab. It'll change your input mode. Try typing! ^^,

    Click "EN" in your taskbar and change to "JP"....If there's already "JP", look for "A" near it or any other icon. Click it. It's actually the input mode. Change the input mode to Hiragana or any other option of your choice. がんばって!:D

    does my keyboard have to be japanese?

  • @ElegantDzn
    @ElegantDzn Před 11 lety

    When you type with a Japanese keyboard, you don't use capitals, hence why the caps lock button doesn't work.
    Let's say that I was to say "Japan".
    I would have my Japanese keyboard on, and I would type "nihon" or "ni-hon" and it would come up as 日本
    If I were to type "Nihon"/"Ni-hon", it would just come back as "Nihon"/"Ni-hon". Same concept with the caps lock.
