- In this video we look at the entire timeline of Marceline the Vampire Queen from Adventure Time. Voiced by Olivia Olson, and aired on the Cartoon Network, we look at Marceline's complete history, her past and future. I've put Marceline's life in chronological order. From season 1 to Adventure Time Distant Lands. I go into her friendship with Finn and Jake, as well as her romance with Princess Bubblegum.
This video also explores his rivalry and friendship with the Ice King.

Simon and Marceline are easily my favorite characters in the show, and Bubbline is the relationship arc which I credit for helping bridge me from the childish "love is icky!" mindset to recognizing how much romance arcs can add to a series. And if you guys think her story's complicated, just wait until you read the ambiguous/alt-canon materials-the comics, Marceline's Super-Secret Scrapbook, Adventure Time Encyclopedia, etc. They're a bit all over the place in terms of content, tone, and quality, but a lot of the inclusions are pretty interesting.
In particular, I give a strong recommendation to "Marceline Gone Adrift".
Also, for those who don't know, the reason why the "fry incident" is so significant is because Marceline hadn't eaten for several days to that point, while Hunson is deathless and literally cannot die. She scrounged together enough to buy a box of fries, only for her dad to eat them all, leaving her starving.

We get to see the former throughout the show, but there's also a couple of album where Olivia Olson sings the show's most popular songs in both of the other languages. I have the Spanish fluency of a toddler and can't speak any Portuguese, but the albums are pretty solid.
If you search "Marceline Canta: Timeless Songs", you can find both versions of the albums.
She also sings a lot in phineas and ferb
Olivia Olson does a radical job being both Vanessa and Marceline.

I personally think that instead of just Simon, the timeline should be of the crown itself, as Ice King is just an extension of Evergreen.

Marceline is one of my all time favorite characters in Adventure Time, and when she and Princess Bubblegum got together in the end it was the best thing ever for the two of them!!!

Okay but like, how did Marceline's parents chemistry work? Was it a legitimate relationship at all? Or was it like a classic "I'm demon nightosphere king person, and I kinda force whoever to bare my child" type of a thing? I would like to think he was going to actually consume her soul just like everyone else, but for some reason Marceline's mom was able to intrigue him enough and they actually fell in love. But I'm not really sure. Idk if this gets explained in the series at all or what. I still have to watch everything :0
