Hi, I am of Tikar ancestry. What source are you reading from? I think we have to distinguish between legend/myth and real history. I have heard that Tikars might have come through ancient Egypt, Soudan (old Sudan extended into the hinterlands of sub-Sahara, West Africa during the time of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade). If Tikars were in Arabia-Yemen around the time of the rise of Islam, that would be during the 7th century CE. But the ancient Egyptian pyramids were built from around 2600 BCE. It seems that Tikars may have been nomads for a long time? Most academics (Tikar ones: Mohammadou, Elouga, etc and European ones) agree that Tikars migrated from around Lake Chad, the Borno-Kanem Islamic empire, from about the 17th century (Jeffreys), into the North West Central Grasslands/plateaus of what is now called Cameroon, especially between 1751 to 1809, when the 4 main Tikar kingdoms: Bankim (Kimi), Nditam, Ngambe, Kong, and others were established. We need to establish dates/years to our history, to see where we stood in historical time.

we left Kemet in 656 b.c. This was told by Tikar Kings. My name is Njihkwasi which means "Father of the King of Ntem, given to me by my great Kinhg.IBRAHIM GAH 2 of BANKIM aka Kimi. I am number 92, if you know what that means. We stem from a place called MBUT a place in central Yemen and then migrated toward Sudan, KUSH. We ruled Kemet for 1000 years knowledge from Tikar Kings I met in Bamenda and Bankim in 2021
