1977 was the first Bathurst I saw on TV when I was 6 years old. Seeing the two big Falcons "flying" down Conrod side by side made a huge impression on this young boy, I have been a Moffat fan ever since.

from 5:12 history comes back to life from 1977, Allan Moffat will forever more be a tru blue legend. Good on ya mate for bringing back a bit of history.

Sort of, only difference is that the V8 supercars are actual street driven cars (either the holden commodore or a ford falcon) converted to race spec's and applications, where the NASCAR is purely a dedicated custom roll cage chassis with a purpose made shell for the track (that looks really cool though). I hope to see NASCAR take a step outside the U.S.A soon as well to the down under and make a mark, I love NASCAR as well.

American NASCAR is so readily available to take on a touring car race. It's almost identical to the cars here...
All the good folks over there at the west is an open mind and an open heart and see this so they get to know what they're missing and what full potential their NASCARs can make.
