Luke's Stabicraft 1450 frontier is a ocean's weapon!
kapiti island for me, especially in wellington, is fishing paradise!
So this time i knew i had to film it and it wasn't a complete doughnut with a few good snapper and luke sure saved the day with a nice 9KG king!

Awesome video bro always make these trips look epic. That stabicraft 1450 and the 1410 size are such great boats for these missions. One day I want to own one haha. Bummer about the kingy but you still got some beautiful reds. I think I need to pick up a red Baku Baku now.

Was just in at the shop and that red Baku Baku tiger has been discontinued in the bigger sizes , if you see em above 100 grab em up

Sick video and awesome 1450 . In process of ordering one here but debating on the minnkota mount. Definitely want to mount a minnkota but also like to have the space in front . Does that mount take up a lot of room considering it’s mounted inside ? Wished they made a mount on the outside like the 1550. Either way sick boat! I’ve watched this video more then 10 times !!
Hey man! Thanks for watching and we appreciate it.
The mount is like an “L” shape bracket actually hangs on the outside of the hull. So it sit perfectly with the hull design. Only thing is the battery tray is bit tight. Other than that the minnkota sits nicely on the side. Best to chat with Stabicraft and see the suggestions, another mate of mine that has a 1650 had a bracket welded on the outside.

@@strtslpr sounds good mate! It’s a Minnkota terrova 55LB with a 54inch shaft. The battery is deepcycle marine 110 amp. It has to be under 350mm long to fit in tray.
What model Simrad is that and what screen size? I Want to fit similar on my new Stabi that has arrived this week.
The model is Nss9 evo 3!
